The first time I saw this crash was on the monster truck bloopers tape and then on the bigfoot 25th anniversary dvd I heard Jim say the right front four link bar collapsed but if you look right before it did the right rear tire pops. I wonder if he could have saved it if the tire didn't blow. It looks like the truck had actually lifted the right front barely off the ground and then the tire popped and sent the right front into the ground collapsing the bar.

Fastraxx crushing that monster truck at the end is the only time I can find anything like that with a tank crushing another monster happening anywhere. Bob was always pushing the envelope. He and the Bigfoot name hold the majority of early firsts and records.

Wildfooot was an incredible monster truck. They really had the cantilever suspension dialed in at this point and having John Kasse racing engines producing huge reliable horsepower they were tuff to beat. Way ahead of their time I think. Andy Brass was one heck of a driver also.

Wow I Rennes goin to this on Saturday night. This footage is from the the FRIDAY night show cause Bigfoot 4 was on the trailer totaled from that wreck. I still my poster that I bought at this event.

I guess when Andy said Bigfoot #12, I guess he meant Bigfoot #14 cause #12 had a chassis and suspension like #'s 8 and 9. From my understanding the # 12 chassis was originally designed to be #10 , but it was determined to totally redesign and go with a different direction with #10. I remember taking to someone at Bigfoot and they had said that they were planning on using the chassis for a display only truck.

I don’t know what combination this truck had but it sure seems like this truck is faster than anything Bigfoot runs today? Was something about it banned that still stands today?

it's the same speed as today's standard. it was more of the engine and setup for the track setup. Bigfoot 8 was banned for being far to advanced in 1990

JerOutlaw I didn’t say that. but since you insist. nascar died too when they stopped using factory built cars. when it comes to drag racing. I only watch the street classes. cause those other classes don’t use actual cars.

that was one of their Chevy "monster" trucks that they built to be crushed. just a chevy truck that has no motor or transmission with some tubing attached to the frame and some simple axles attached to said tubing. just enough to make it look like a monster but it is only used for crushing.

Wrong truck, Bigfoot #8 is still in the hands of the Bigfoot crew (though its mainly used for display and exhibition purposes these days) its not longer a race truck. Bigfoot #9 was the one lost to the Brazilian customs debacle.
