I have the 7ft 2-4kg spin model. Really trying to like it but regret buying, very uncomfortable to use and lose alot of fish of the hook. Swap back and forth to my $20 UL rod with same reel and line and hardly ever lose fish... go figure lol.

I ended up with the mgx xtreme 20 with the veritas 4. Amazing rod and setup.Went for a quick flick and pulled in a tyre. Yes guys a car tyre shore based no ptoblems.Compared to the veritas 3 this is up there the guys at abu have outdone themselves thanks for a great stick again i dont know how you can improve on this. Keep up the good work.

I havent had any problems with my rods.ive had every series. I love the boat any details would be great. Would the mgx 20 spin be good for the 782 ul.

I have a 7ft ul and l version what size reel would suit these. Would i get away with a 2000 reel.

Will the 7'9 rod be suitable for saltwater and surf fishing. Please reply asap, I think I want one in the baitcaster version

Have you addressed the rod-snapping issue? I have seen numerous videos and reviews stating that the veritas 3.0 snapped with a reasonable amount of force. has this been fixed?
