This rendition is GREAT!! It's always funny to watch the Buddy Rich band and the tributes by pro's: THEY SOUND LIKE HIGH SCHOOL KIDS!! And here the high school kids sound like PROS!!! I suppose the song is supposed to be played REAL LOOSE, but I think it sound better when the rhythm is TIGHT! IMHO

Great performance. When the bass started playing the Mingus line, man! That was SOLID! Is this a performing arts school or just a regular public school? Lots of wonderful solos here. Loved the trombone. Lots of heart in her playing.

The Third Herd Orchestra? If there is a First and Second Herd this must be an amazing university to study music at. This sounds like a top band! Great performance. I really enjoyed it. Kudos to the band teacher and to the players.

年齢からしたら十分素晴らしいのだけど、特にソロイストは表現する意味をもっと考えて演奏するといいと思う。それからドラムは色々言われやすいのだけれど、もっと経験を積んだらよくなると思う。

昔ワセダのハイソという日本一のビッグバンドでこの曲を演奏。 とにかくアップテンポの難曲。みんな必死こいて吹いていました。 矢張りこの曲を制するには個人技のレベルアップした上でのセクション毎、全体のアンサンブルを徹底的に練習しないと ベイシーのレベルには近づけません。だけど上手く演奏できた時はもぉさいこー。 題名がまたいいじゃないスカ👍😄
