Roy could you do a vid on how you became a walk on and advice for someone who'd want to become one too? I'm injured and missing the rest of my junior season which sucks, but I still have next year although I doubt I'll be able to build a strong enough portfolio for a scholarship - my grades are great tho and I got good ECs so I'm defo gonna apply to some ivies + stanford and mit and hopefully get in so I'd rlly wanna walk on to those teams

hi Roy, big fan (not as big as epicsaga8 tho). I am a sharp shooter just like you, but I don't like practicing my mid-range game. I tend to shoot mostly 3s when I play pickup and it's way more fun to me to just launch long 3s when I shoot by myself, because I tend to shoot pretty well. How important is it to you to practice your midrange? I only play pick-up ball, but I do want to get better still even though I'm getting older. Thanks for the upload man, you rule (even if you only got an A-).

Boy oh boy where do I even begin. Roy… honey, my pookie bear. I have loved you ever since I first laid eyes on you. The way you drive into the paint and strike fear into your enemies eyes. Your silky smooth touch around the rim, and that gorgeous jumpshot. I would do anything for you. I wish it were possible to freeze time so I would never have to stop watching your videos. You are even amazing off the court, you're a great son and teammate, sometimes I even call you daddy. I forever dread and weep, thinking of the day you will stop uploading. I would sacrifice my own life it were the only thing that could put a smile on your beautiful face. You have given me so much joy, and heartbreak over the years. I remember when you first left high school and its like my heart got broken into a million pieces. But a tear still fell from my right eye when I watched you join the team at Stanford, because deep down, my glorious king deserved it. I just wanted you to return home. Then allas, you did, my sweet baby boy came home and I rejoiced. 2021 was a hard year for us baby, but in 2024 you made history happen. You came back and I couldn't believe it. I was crying, bawling even, and I heard my glorious king exclaim these words, Not only have you changed the game of basketball and the world forever, but you've eternally changed my world. And now you're getting older, but still the goat, my goat. I love you pookie bear, my glorious king, Roy Yuan.

I would've liked to see you go harder and train like there was a defender there. Your stepback training could've been more forceful, but I still love the routine. Thank you Roy!
