This is Citrus Black by Platinum. The ink starts birght yellow then turns a golden color. Fun!

Please share your comments and expert ideas as to what may be causing the horizontal lines? Lighting? This camera has no real ability to adjust settings, other than the level of exposure. Not too bad for a first try.... maybe?

Citrus Black from Platinum held up very well. Cassia by Rohrer and Klingner, and Tanzanite Sky by Ferris Wheel Press had the expected level of fade. These tests roughly inflict the equivalent over 400yrs of normal notebook / journal / document exposure to UV rays. Any of these inks would be perfectly fine for lasting family or historical documents. Write a letter today!

After 2 weeks, one of these inks has definitely changed. I won't say "faded", but the tone has shifted. Which one??

In addition to providing historical information and sometimes names, Memorials also tell us how the event impacted future generations - through the design and location of the memorial.

During the Civil War, troops from both sides not only had to cross the Potomac multiple times, they also had to cross the C&O Canal... sometimes a more difficult effort than crossing the river.

It's a common misperception that all immigrants to the US came through Ellis Island. Baltimore, New Orleans, Boston, Philadelphia and other ports were major sources of entry as well.
