Nice job many thanks. I just acquired an rcbs lube sizer that works similarly to yours . Can’t wait to try it out!!

With all do respect you never look st your holster you need to train to the point not to look at holster. If there was bad guy you wouldn't want to be looking at holster. You want to look and see the threat

I just bought a Lebel and could use your help disassembling the trigger assembly. It's REALLY dirty and rusted, and I need to take it apart to do a through cleaning. Here's a quick video to prove I'm for real: kzbin.info/www/bejne/aZaTpHewarKKebs This is a big favor to ask, but could you film a disassembly and reassembly video for me?

Are you using the hezter in this vid. I have a old version of this machine my wifes grandfather gave me after he passed. Put an aluminum heater block under it from midway. Still trying to master the pressure aspect.

You can buy a form and trim die that has a hardened surface and then you can easily cut the resized case to length and at the top of the die and then put the case in a case trimmer tool to exactly get the case to length. There are proper tools made for this work.
@theThinkerator7 ай бұрын
Sure, but who doesn't own a trimmer and dies for the cartridge you are going to reload? I think it would be easier to size first in the 7mm die, THEN cut to length.... but that's just me.

The problem I have when I clean the brass, is that there is always some corn cob stuck in the flash hole. How do you deal with that problem? Why don’t you do a video about what happens when you reload a rifle round and tumbling media remains/lodged in the brass. How it effects pressure, accuracy, and how likely it is to blow up the gun. You make awesome videos and I'm most grateful for all the work you do.

The trigger was on mine seems a bit wiggly, everything seems identical to yours. Any ideas?
@clownworld4655 Жыл бұрын
If you’re talking about front/back wiggle, the lebel trigger is supposed to be wiggly when the rifle is not cocked similar to a mosin trigger. I own two in good condition which are both like this

Thanks for making this video. Every time I’ve seen someone cross draw in a western movie, they usually get killed. Namely El Indio in ”For A Few Dollars More”, and Angel Eyes in “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly.” The only movie character I’ve seen pull off a cross draw was Doc Holiday in “Tombstone.” 😂

I wonder if it's also better to use the lighter weight cases to convert like Winchester etc and it will be less likely to get folds

Nice re-holstering technique with the cross draw. I don’t have a double revolver gun belt with a cross draw yet, but i’m gonna use the same technique with my Diamond D chest rig which is a cross draw & being adjustable & closer to the firing position I assume would be a lot faster to re-holster. Very awesome rig though man. Need to have one made for sure when I get the extra cash.

Trying to Lear about cowboy action shooting. Hope to get into it one day. This was very informative. Is there a way to dry fire the gun without damaging it? I read somewhere you can buy something to keep from damaging the firing pins? A cap?? Or am I imagining this?
@owenespezel80464 жыл бұрын
Iv heard of people putting a piece of felt infront of the firing pin. Helps dampen the blow. Just be sure to remove it before a match!
@locklear24783 жыл бұрын
There’s a product called snap caps. They’re plastic dummies you can safely practice with.

Excellent summary of the basics needed! I bought a RCBS RockChuker JR2 press in 1972 and still use it today...it will last a lifetime. A RCBS bullet puller that screws in the press is handy in case you need to remove bullet and powder from a load. Brake Cleaner to degrease and clean out the sizing dies. Most public libraries have reloading manuals and reading 3-4 reloading manuals before starting is helpful.

@renoblevg53755 жыл бұрын
As it's just a shooting sport it's fine to take your eye off target, but if you ever carry these for defense you better train to keep your eye on target no matter what
@canadianplinkers74935 жыл бұрын
renobLE vg yep, this is for Cowboy action shooting. Cuz if you miss the holster and drop a gun (unloaded) is a Stage Disqualification (two of those makes a Match DQ) drop a loaded gun and it’s a Match DQ. I’d rather not take the risk and watch the gun into the holster.
