i`ve realized the downgrade after i played SotN way later. Same goes for Johnathan and Shanoa. it would had been ok for his primary weapon to be locked but al least a second weapon on the other hand for Johnathan.

So... I can't seem to find info on how luck affects souls in this game. There's only three creature's souls left for me to get, and they are all boss souls. Legion, Lord of Flies and Ryukotsuki. Should I be gearing up for luck on any of those?

Unfortunately, the drop rates are so abysmaly low , i dont know myself if it should be luck or soul eater. Try both. Max out luck and 2 rings , or one ring of each type. I only need ryukotsuki and chymiriqd for myself

@@kiraxbloodelf2452 Sorry, my PS3's packed away right now. I'm playing off of the PC. Also, forgot about the Soul Eater rings. Won't help with Ryukotsuki since his soul comes from a chest, but those will definitely help with the other two. I wonder how far I got on my PS3 game? It's been so long, I don't remember what was left to do on that save. XD GOD I hope I'll get a Miser Ring soon on my PC save... 90 hours in on Soma and it still eludes me.

@kevinegannn ,quite so , i just fought a few hours ago it's akashic lvl 35 variant while i was 42 in a side quest finalle. It was so much easier. But the Odin fight was eighter to easy or i just god decent enough at the game.

I would suggest spamming the skills that inflict the most stun build up , ao you can have an easy time dealing damge. I am in the late game now , i got all the other abilities . I use Siva , lots of stun on her ultimate , pheonix, and the third one varies. Lighting is a good single target , but Bahamut seems ok from range against both large and normal enemies. Time slows down when using his laser , but all your skills still recharge just as fast , meaning quick couldowns

If this really was a Safi jiiva, Clive might not be able to kill it. Since this world is full of Aether, Safi Jiiva absorbs this energy, regenerating itself and becoming stronger 😂

I was lvl 39 , and it was lvl 50. First ti.e it oneshoot me when i went in at 70% hp , thinking how hard it could be. Seccond time i dealt some and lost bad. That was the third attempt after adjusting my spells and gear with no grinding in between the losses and the success.

I like how Fuma's size is small and he applies damage on his double jump. But i do not play hit much. On the rare occasions i play , i work mastery on Simon

I played all GBA and NDS Castlevia games the days they came out . Heard about this game back then but never bought it since I wasn't into digital copy of anything. I recently subsribed to PlayStation Plus only to play Lost in The Rain (another title I missed out back then due to digital release only in North America) , then I saw HoD avail for streaming and decided to give it a go after all these years. It's ok, but I found it a bit repetitive and slow. Since I don't have gaming friend and only play solo , I can't really comment on the game. Stage 2 boss was so damn cheap that made me almost quit the game but I figured out the secret and beat him over the weekends anyways. On to stage 3, I was eager to face the giant boss but the bad stage design leading up to the boss killed it off for me. One wrong jump down and you'll have to slowly climb your way back to the same spot isn't fun , even with the camera zooming out, it's still hard to plan your trip when you have no idea if you can jump high enough to reach a certain spot until you get there. I also can't see if a door is blocked when everything's too tiny. so far , stage 1 was no problem when I can beat it using any character. My best run was Yoko Belnades. I cleared stage 2 one time using Julius Belmont. Hard to image I could use any other character without the ablity to whip upward like him . Jumping attack is out of the question for me. Overall , it's not bad but I have other games in mind for the subscription. I don't mind buying HoD and go back to the game in the future but streaming is the only option avail for the ps4 and it was taken off the xbox360/ps3 shops. So I do but I don't.

I think it may still be available on the ps3 shoop , but only if you check it while on ps3. I still have the game , if you want a partner. Yoko is very easy to lvl up , but she does not have much depth. The other mastery users like the whipers are hard to lvl up. Is slow and annoying afther lvl 5 mastery

imho dark meta should of been an innate ability. he should of kept some form of bat. and where the hell are his summons? i feel like alucard would of gotten updated later down the line. but by that point the devs gave up.

I'm not sure about the updates , but some great stuff is missing indeed . Some stuff , i may understand as balancing , so some characters don't just cheese the stages and be far more OP than others . Like how soma kinda is , just because of how flexible he is and that yorick that allows him to cheat stages . Also no skill that increases speed is in the game , like the panther for Soma or wolf dash for Alucard.

Awesome video, to be honest, this title kind of suck, am not a fan or anything, but my ego doesnt let me abandon it, so i must clear it, however, the way to level up i don like it/understand it, but this make me more to know about. Before see this i was already at the final boss, but since it took me like a day to face dracula i tought that i was missing something... anyways, awesome video, and remember, say no to Game Over!

What subscription do you need for this on xbox one? they have game pass, game pass core, and ultimate game pass, but xbox live isn't available any more. I have a maxed out soma and charlotte that I'd like to use.

I am sorry, I can't help you . I play it on PS3 and PS+ but never owned an X Box. There is, however, a group of Castlevania HoD players on Facebook. Most of them play on X Box and they might help.

I do. Last month i went on my ps and deleted evryone, but my own accounts from friend list , because there were just to many people ofline for way to long , or that i was not even remembering. I did delete the ps3 ones as well , as i didnt thaught id play on it that much anymore. I only log occasionally on it to play tekken tag 2 or one or 2 rounds of castlevenia

The players are almost there to fight Gergoth , and at the same time Belzebub . I use 2 stages at the same time. They beat The holy and unholy legion by now. (In harmony of dissonance , there were 2 legions , i used that concept on top of the normal one)

You can play this by streaming it on ps5 sadly it does not come with the dlc so if you do find anyone playing and they have the dlc you can't do anything.

I did play both versions , last week me and a few friends who are newbies started a new save. I more or less already maxed out Charlotte with what can be obtained in the base game and R. Skeletons. Another pne playes Soma , and got a lucky Soraris on the 5th or so clear of ch 6. The other one played Simon . And by now , we can tackle mosts hard stages with high success rate

The vamanway can be obtained in ch 6 and the better valmanway can be obtained in ch 10 , both on hard. To get succubus easier , you need 2 soulsteal rings and as much luck as you can get. It will still be hard.

That was long ago, i dont remember , but if the file was .rar or .7z you need winrar to extract it from the archive. Most of those downloads come as 7z or rar

You have to jump as close as posible to the moment you reach the top. Then be ready to get out of the spikes and avoid medusas as fast as posible

A shame this game is not played that much anymore in both Ps3 and Xbox 360 (which is also playable on the Xbox Series and Xbox One... it was one of the Games With Gold this year, if you got it, you can play it offline anytime).

I got the advance colection and i finaly started to play trought it. The guy from cir le of the moon and juste would had been so great as Dlc , but we got maria and fuma instead. I get that maria was a fan favorite , and fuma is like their easter egg who also pears in yu gi oh along side his boss. But there was a lot of wasted potential that they "made up for " with crazy time consuming grinding

The base game has 7, and there are 4 dlc stages, but stage 7 is more of an extra. You only have to beat stage 6 to unlock the hard dificulty and the advanced items in shoop likr the master ring and the soul eater ring.

There just isn't much about alucard to talk about. The mastery users just need to spam theyr hunter skills to make them stronger

also worth mentioning, Alucard can move and attack with the Yasutsuna, similar to the valmanway. Soma cannot do this

I think i mentioned somewhere that some weapons behave differently depending if eighter Soma or Alucard has them... If not, my bad. But most players will usualy try to rush to ge the Spam Blade anyway

Unfortunately the game is pretty much dead, so i kinda lost the will to make the versions for the mastery users and Charlote, but basicaly, the mastry users get stonger the more they use the subweapons

I managed to finally get my Xbox 360 to actually work, and it's been so long since I played this game. So I really needed this to remind me how to play it. Great video! Edit: ngl tho, the puppet master is probably the only boss here that kinda scares me.

I consider the puppet master to be the easiest one. As long as you have a weapon or spell to deal with the puppets. For soma and alucard, bare hands or any puch works

For Charlote and Soma the Glashya Labolas bubbles are great, for the belmots, just hold the attack button and whiggle the whip at it
