My dad did this at the end for a few days before he slipped into a coma. He talked to his family who passed before him and was able to tell me who he was talking with. I have also seen it with many elderly patients I have been with at their end of life. I find it comforting.

Yes! Many people have asked me how I could deal with death? I even heard my brother’s last heartbeat and breath. He had suffered with cancer. I believe in God and I know, through my faith, they’re going to a much better place. I had to hold it together with my brother because I was there to help my family accept that death was eminent. I talked with him daily for the last (3) weeks of his life and slept just inches away from him on a daybed. I didn’t allow myself to grieve in front of them. After everything was over, I went home and cried my eyes out. I would not change anything at all. God rest his soul; he was a Christian, also, we talked about that. I know he is no longer suffering and I will see him again.

Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. John 3:3,5 Jesus answered and said to him, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God." Jesus answered, "Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. John 5:24 so that all will honor the Son even as they honor the Father. He who does not honor the Son does not honor the Father who sent Him. John 11:25-26 Jesus said to her, "I am the resurrection and the life; he who believes in Me will live even if he dies, and everyone who lives and believes in Me will never die. Do you believe this?" Acts 10:43 Of Him all the prophets bear witness that through His name everyone who believes in Him receives forgiveness of sins." John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, and the truth, and the life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. Oneness with the Father May God grant him complete healing, in Jesus name, Amen.

Was the opposite when my father-in-law was temporarily in a nursing home after breaking his leg. He would call my wife and was crying because he couldn't sleep because they wouldn't give him pain medicine unless the non-existent nurse got approval from his doctor that wasn't in the office until the morning! Nursing homes are places for old people to suffer at the whimsy of ignorant nurses! Never putting any of my family in a nursing home!

WTF??? How selfish can you be that you choose to have your “loved one” in excruciating pain for your benefit? My sister was moved to hospice and they gave her 30 days. I spent the first two days with her and she had to be out with morphine the entire time. She woke up for 30 seconds and thanked me then went back under. She passed away at the end of the second day. Don’t wait until your family is in hospice to say the things you want to say

I would have come unglued if they tried to hold back my mothers pain, medication or anxiety medication, but any time before her death. I did not care, she was incredibly doped up, she was not in pain.

If the racist old white ladies saw the real jesus they would deny him for being brown. You spend your entile life building/destroying neural pathways. The strongest connections you think of or do the most or love the most actually change the size of your neurons, so when the last bit of your brain is shutting down its taking the path of least resisitance. The bigger neuron. Dmt is released in the brain and you perceive whatever that is. Nothing more or less. It's your body preparing you for death.

This absolutely breaks my heart! My daddy was dying of lung cancer and my uncle suggested that my mom stop the meds and he screamed out in pain and my immediately had them start them back. My heart hurts every time I think about this and if you don’t understand what is happening, ASK! PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS TO YOUR LOVED ONES WHO ARE DYING! This is absolutely cruel and unethical and UNNECESSARY! I love and miss you dad! ❤

My nephew/son passed away from sickle cell disease. His last 24 hours on this earth was very hard to watch. Although I couldn't feel his pain physically, I felted it mentally. He was in so much pain. Never allow your emotions of letting your love ones go without pain medication if it's available to them. My child was given pain medication but, it wasn't helping him. I still grieve to this day because I couldn't help him. The pain medication Wil! help some people pass away more peacefully
