For the newer version of this machine hold the two buttons either side of the spanner icon for three seconds. This takes you to a menu where you can change the volume of the annoying beep, or disable it completely

Hello. Please tell me, is the flash control function active in the menu on your 780 or not? I installed a sb900 flash on my D780, but flash control is not available in the menu. I can't find information anywhere.

does this battery grip increase the D780's CH framerate a little bit do you know? like how the D850's CH fps is 7fps but is increased to 9fps with battery grip.

Intriguingly I have replaced super easily. Both pulling out and putting back. Find a super sharp and small needle, like ones which come with soldering tool kit.

I put a tiny amount of silicone lubricant on the stem and it made it quite easy to insert using a screwdriver smaller than the hole.

Edit : Series 8 cannot be turned off I was just informed by Bosch😢. Other series can.....be it the temp button hold or reload button hold. Unfortunately upon turning on (yes, cotton) it displays the 1 hour wash duration, looks different from your "9" display. When holding temperature, it goes down to the frost star, but nothing zero happens if I turn the dial to prewash while holding temperature button. The display stays the same. Maybe it's another button in the Bosch series 8 washing machine I have to hold while turning to prewash? This peeping at the end drives my husband insane.
