Nice, I'm planning on going here as well. A few questions- What month was this and about what time did you arrive? Once you leave the pavement how long is the drive time to springs? Did you ever continue on to Alces (Moose) lake?

I clipped my chickens wings and they can still do this! I have over-head chicken wire on their run. Its not to keep the predators out, its to keep the sneaky chickens in!

This comment makes me sad. I hope you don't just keep looking for mcds when you travel, i mean maybe it's affordable or maybe it's a know commodity and you've got a picky eater or something but I find going to local businesses a great experience.
