Can you tell me if I can use my full piano sound from keyboard with accompaniment from bk7?
@JohnSweeneyRoland8 ай бұрын
It’s possible with my Roland LX-708. I would imagine it’s possible with any midi-enabled piano but I also suppose there may be some pianos which don’t work. For example if it’s fitted with USB midi only, and isn’t a Roland piano.

Wahnsinn.

Hi John. Do you have a spare time to create: O. M. Guerrini - I Wanna Go, as "Karaoke"-background... I have BK-7M also, but I'm stuck with my vocal lessons totally and that took my all spare time... kzbin.info/www/bejne/bIeWZppphbtnh5Y

Very nice playing! Could you tell me what kind of keyboard you are using to control the BK-7M? Thanks.
@JohnSweeneyRoland8 жыл бұрын
In this video, I am using the Yamaha HX1 System 1 organ. I sold this quite some time ago now, but you can use any midi equipped device to control it.
@TimWinarso8 жыл бұрын
Thanks. I know you can use any MIDI keyboard for controlling. I was just curious because I have never seen a stack (double deck) MIDI keyboard.

Hello, I have the sonic cell, is there a big différence in sound quality with his big brother BK-7m? The replacement of sonic cell by the BK-7m worth it? Thank you very much
@JohnSweeneyRoland8 жыл бұрын
denversos m they are completely different sound sets. You really only need to change over if you wish to use the auto accompaniment though as the sonic cell is very capability of great sounds too.

@JohnSweeneyRoland8 жыл бұрын
+Nigel Elvis Kingsley Thanks for your kind comments. I have never seen a Roland KP24 before, but just looked it up. I would imagine this will be fine as it outputs midi, and could be useful for chord control. With only 24 notes though, I cant see you being able to use it easily for the melodic parts!

Well Keith, thanks for your comments. We all know the original song is an octave up, but this is my interpretation, and I like it where it is! It also suits the amazing sax sound which the BK-7m has. I am yet to find a superior sax sound, though the new supernatural ones in my Integra-7 certainly give it a run for its money.

HI Keith, Thanks again for your kind words. The OX& seems to be beyond repair, but I am not binning it until I know for sure! If you feel like having a BK-7m again, just let me know, and I'll get one out to you! There has been quite a resurgence of interest in it lately, hence the new video for work!

the keyboard is the Roland G70. The sliders under the screen are mini-drawbars. It is not used at all during the performance.

Sorry what configurate die you Chose in the wizard?
@JohnSweeneyRoland10 жыл бұрын
The wizard is an excellent tool to get you working quickly, but it is not the be-all and end-all of this product. There are many more detailed midi setting which can be achieved by navigating through the midi settings. As I have set out previously, I have set various channels to receive for each independent melodic part. I used the wizard first though to get a basic setting, (Digital Organ / Electronic Organ) then customised these parts.
@musikmann7710 жыл бұрын
Thanks a Lot , so what preconfiguration die you use in the Winzerfest?
@musikmann7710 жыл бұрын
Thanks, and what about the Upper Manual, how do I get your complete configuration?
@JohnSweeneyRoland10 жыл бұрын
Its output on channel 1and the input on BK7m is for Up1 on Channel 1. I normally have pedals assigned to Channel 3 and for MBS to receive on channel 3, but on this occasion I am not using the pedals.
@musikmann7710 жыл бұрын
Hallo, please Tell me what I Must do for Splitting the lower Manual, thanks a Lot from Germany
@JohnSweeneyRoland10 жыл бұрын
I have assigned the lower manual to output on channel 2 from the HX1. The BK7m is set so that LWR, UP2 and NTA receive on channel 2. The LWR and UP2 parts are then 'split' on the keyboard by zoning them, using the upper and lower keyboard range controls in Menu/Performace edit/Part view. (Last 2 parameter in the list)
