The Helle Eggen leather sheath got cut open on day one. I ordered a new sheath, one built by a craftsman. It is still being built but ill be much more durable I can confirm using a firestick with Helle knifes is not a good combo. The quality of the blades is amazing though. I own 4 knifes now, I have only complaints about the sheaths and handles. For bushcrafting I bought a Muela Jabali knife and a Hultafors axe. Not going for Helle for these items

Hey you guys, I came across your channel looking for wild medicinal plants. I actually live here on the breathtaking Bay of Fundy, known as the Annapolis Valley, although I live on the north mountain. Transplanted from Pugwash NS, there’s a place you wanna check out! The northumberland strait, warm salt water and sand beaches of the gulf shore. The music in your KZbin video gave me goosebumps and watery eyes. The ancestors paying a visit. I just love it! Subscribed to your channel immediately ❤️🙏

I’ve had this knife for a few years. Handle is chipped now. I actually bent the blade putting to much force into making wood shavings. The leather sheath no longer secures the knife safely. I had to put a mandatory land yard so I wouldn’t lose the knife. I am going to be going through warranty with this knife

I have looked at their queen sized blanket (96x78inch) and it seems to be made from the same wool but 100% instead of 80% and it dosent have the robust stitching along the edge. I am planning on sewing a Ruana cloak (google it, its an awesome versatile garment) with it. I have another Ruana cloak from before but its to short and not wide enough for my taste, I want to be engulfed by the cloak and really get protected from the elements.

I dont know if people properly recognize how much of a deal it is. Nobody talks about it, nobody give this method a amount attention it begs for. The method (which i belive many hardcore survival /bushcraft fans know by simple deduction) basicly means that you can use medival flint and steel without any cotton material and with one spark needed- cause this s*it is WAY better than cotton char cloth...and its one hundred percent renewable as it's easy to find. Gold, pure gold. Great video dude.

I do not trust any wool blanket to keep me warm in below freezing temperatures that is smaller than a Hudson’s Bay 6 point blanket (90” X 100”). Unless you are a very short or very fat person, this Arcturus blanket is too short and too light to keep you warm through the night. Open up your wallet and buy the right blanket once.

Its really gimmicky. Truly that is something you buy your child when he goes to cub scouts. Any real man or woman would not waste they’re time and money on something like that knowing the consequences of not having proper tools on hand that work in a scenario where they would actually need to rely on something of that nature.
