I love all of this series - of course, I think you are an amazing quilter too. I do not know some of the designs on the wheel - is there anywhere that they are listed or pictures of them?

You really are gifted on these very intensely pieced quilts! I longarm my quilts but I have to say that if I were ever to spend that much time on a too- I would want you to quilt it for me! Awesome every time!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Wow so impressed with your traveling and straight lines with no ruler. I’m practicing every day I do see improvements so I’m happy. I did start pantographs and I love it s well. It taught me how to control longarm quickly. Not perfect but I’m happy. I will have to do this challenge with you soon.

Sounds like excellent progress! You are so right, pantographs are wonderful for learning control. Keep stitching!

Beautiful work! Is there a reason you keep your left hand on the quilt instead of both hands on the handlebars?
@quiltingcurvestudio11 күн бұрын
I use a lot of rulers and trained myself to only use one hand. I like the feeling of the fabric and feel as though it helps me stay in control.

Gorgeous! How do I find the rulers you use? What brand is your longarm?
@quiltingcurvestudio17 күн бұрын
Hi! Sorry about the delay, summer is being amazing here on the west coast of Canada. The curved rulers are Quilted Pineapple. The straight rulers are from the Silly Moon Quilt Co. If you use my code you can get 10% off (QUILTINGCURVE) The little blue one is no longer for sale but you can find similar around ( it's a 2" round). My machine is an older Handi Quilter Avante

I see you love feathers. Just beautiful. I am yet to jump in and start using rulers. Just a bit nervous about them and to practice. 😊

There has to be a trick/tip to quilting pebbles in teeny tiny space!
@quiltingcurvestudio17 күн бұрын
Tons of practice and lowering your stitches per inch. 12 or 14 per inch makes nicer pebbles

Greetings, I love the series, however I TRULY!!! wish you would not speed it up. If people don't want to watch you in "real" time let them fast forward through the quilting!!! I try to get your rhythm as you quilt, when you speed it up it completely destroys the rhythm. As a rule I do not have motion sickness, but when you speed it up, it comes as close as I ever want to having motion sickness. If people are happy to watch Susan Smith quilt in real time from1 1/2 -3 hrs. at a time, then to watch you do this for 10 min in real time is not a problem!!!!! I had a hard time following the path as you quilted the frame. Because you sped it up it was not apparent if or where you might have broken thread in quilting the X frame. Thank you for considering this. Best Wishes Betsey

Love this series. I need practice will almost all designs I’ve only had my longarm for about a month and a half now. I’m great at doing them on my sit down. I’m seeing improvements on my longarm every day so that’s what matters. Thank you for the videos you do great work.
@quiltingcurvestudio20 күн бұрын
I was really good at my sit down before I transitioned to the longarm too. But longarming is a whole different game. But it sounds like you know how to get better! Practice everyday!
