7,000 views over 8 years. Says a lot about the quality of certain electronic music and the scene that supports it, that it was still its own thing and that there was this dichotomy that existed. There has to be a balance, where you need this "music industry" fueled music culture for the masses in order for the smaller scale cultures to exist. If the music industry starts digging their claws into every last piece of available art who knows what the outcome will be. It's kind of happening today which makes these interviews even more relevant in the present. The "underground" has suddenly become cool again and there is this shift of people trying to be like the old school by buying turntables and records. We'll see if the art of dj'ing is elevated or if it is just a copy of some old youtube videos. It's reassuring to hear all these guys discussing their art, what it is and what it is not.

Wouldnt say the vibe is the same. Clubs are bright and big outdoor stages in daylight. Cameras held up and stupid skipping dance girls doing...... people in the booth with dj overcrowding the decks

Finally found the song from the beginning. It's a remix of Rosa from the Pony No Hassle album. It's intermixed with the original version--or perhaps the Rodney Hunter version.

this guy did the soundtrack to one of the most badass spy video games of all time and boy did he do a good job putting in the eerie stealth feel into the game through the music. splinter cell chaos theory <3I love this guy
