I was not able to enjoy the video. The back ground music was so loud. I could barely hear your voice. Even with closed caption on the music was unbearable.

I was on the road to being a Surgeon but my Surface mentor told me to run as fast as I could and I realized why because my home and life would be the hospital even though I love the field of Medicine. The Surgeon lifestyle can be overwhelming.

Cool vid but the music was too loud lol. Would have been nice for some more narration / analysis too. The cardiac surgeon video from another channel (that went viral) was quite person-focussed. Helps you connect more with the work. Respect though
Cheers to this lad for the amazing passion. But, dear Americans, if you want a decent life/work balance in neurosurgery still accompanied by a big salary, you should definitely come to Germany

So happy that you met a great Dr., Sorry it took so long for it to be diagnosed. I had macroadoma surgery this past July. Searching for all the information I could find on pituitary tumours, it is slow growing and I could have had mine for 58 years. Also that it can be one in ten that have one. With that statistic, you would think that would be one of the first things checked. Congratulations on a great surgery and recovery.

So thankful for people who go into neurosurgery! Had a laminectomy in 1986, still going long and strong. One suggestion to the video person, tone down the background music so we can better hear what the doc is saying.

I haven’t gotten a flu shot in the past 7 years and I don’t ever plan to get another one. I’d rather get the flu than have that garbage medicine put in my body. I don’t trust the pharmaceutical industry anymore after the whole Covid 19 fiasco. It caused millions of people to lose their lives in the past 3 years.

Neurosurgeons are a separate breed in terms of self motivation. It's a 7 year residency AFTER medical school. So imagine 12 years of regular school. 4 years of college. 4 years of medical school. Then 7 years of residency before you can work independently.
