Did you do it all in one session? Or did you have to wash and dry between applying the black and the colors ? It looks so good!
@BowsandBubblesPetSalon-lt7vb2 ай бұрын
@krystenmercado Yes I did the black first, washed/dried, and then applied the colors, so that I didn't smear the black. I have heard you can let the black fully dry and then paint the colors around it, but I don't feel that confident not smudge the black lol

Sieht sehr schön aus aber warum mit der Maschine ? Muss man diese Hunde nicht von Hand Strippen bzw. trimmen? ❤
@BowsandBubblesPetSalon-lt7vb3 ай бұрын
@silkedingler5379 They will only be stripped by hand if they are in a dog show. Handstripping is a lot of work for the groomer and is expensive. Most pet owners just want the general style, so it is clippered instead.

Very well done and to only see two likes is atrocious! This was very informative and helpful. Would like to see a video on how to trim nails on a 75 pound 7 month old doberman that doesn't like their nails cut. I've been able to only cut one or two nails as a time while he is sleeping, and then he wakes up. Tried the peanut butter on the hat trick and that didn't work. He is very food motivated and I thought showing him food would distract him but nope. Any over the counter relaxation drugs for him? Thanks again and this video was great and not too long.

@@plAIgFIlTRIt’s actually their dog. They got the ears cropped. Cropping is an unnecessary surgery that doesn’t benefit the dog in any way. Just like tail docking. It’s all for looks.

What is the name for nail polish? Is it for animals or for humans?
@BowsandBubblesPetSalon-lt7vb9 ай бұрын
This is Klean Color. You can buy the set on Amazon pretty cheaply. It is not made for dogs specifically, but most modern nail polishes do not contain harmful chemicals (such as formaldehyde) anymore.

why not give links to the products. Surely you cant be worried about giving away secrets. lol I would never recommend using any dye not specifically made for dogs. I have been a cosmetologist for 30 years. Please dont do this even if only adding water.
@plAIgFIlTR Жыл бұрын
Is the idea that you're a cosmetologist for humans giving advice for dogs? Also, if a product is human grade, it will have a similar, if not exact same effect on most mammal hair. Dog dye is only used as a gimmick and is usually of lower quality anyway. Furthermore, she showed which products she was using. Just feel free to try google. Maybe if you're going to do this crap, watch the whole video so the remarks you make actually have some level of validity other than saying you have "30 years of experience". A hundred years won't really mean much at that point. 😅
@Write-or-Wrong11 ай бұрын
@@plAIgFIlTR Heads up, products that are human-grade are not always safe for dogs. For example, vitamins, herbal remedies, etc sometimes require a different refining process or additional steps to make a product safe for a dog (or any other animal)
@plAIgFIlTR11 ай бұрын
@Dreamy-writer I understand. In the same sense that garlic is an anti-inflammatory for humans, but it hurts many other mammals. As for the processor that would be used in many high-end products, you simply wouldn't use two or more step products. I think that most products people use in these instances are single-step. (unless you count bleaching) So it's fine in the same way it would be fine on your hair. Always do a test before applying any product to any hair. But past that, it's the same. I guess that was so obvious to me that I didn't include it. My apologies.

Hi 👋 I named the products in the voice-over. The black is Bigen Oriental Black and the pink is by Crazy Liberty
@BowsandBubblesPetSalon-lt7vb9 ай бұрын
@Dreamy-writer Yes, it's true that some vitamins can be harmful to dogs (and humans) in the wrong quantities. Essential oils can also cause chemical burns. Not all hair dyes are safe for dogs, but the ones I use contain formulas that are similar to those marketed for pets and have been used by pet professionals for years
