Pretty much everything he said is way off base. This is a lab furniture sales person. Not a lab owner. He's worried about garbage cans? Rule # 1. Never ever get stuck in a lab with no windows.

I can completely relate to the Agilent vs Waters debate. We have both brands of HPLC in our company's labs. :-) Matt Wilkinson's explanation of why scientists prefer one brand over another is pretty much spot on. @21:50 -- Such a great point! Life sciences companies aren't selling products. Everything they're doing is selling service.
