I've been watching the concert on HBO of this one and my favorite song right now. Swamp the words the devil in his bag of Bones. I just love these guys

Love this! I am 70 and dancing! By the way, he is wearing a special girdle under his pants to make his hips wide, and had wide pads put in his jacket too because he likes theater and the image it made of making his head look smaller.

I saw this in 1983 @ the famous Waikiki Theater with my then world ranked tennis player boyfriend. He told me this was the best band ever and the only one he liked. He was so into it and the big suit. My busy life kept me from being able to focus on music like I once had after that and only recently started listening to them again due to my 24 year old daughter who has been a huge fan since she was a little girl.

Sorta remember this tour. 66 now but at a younger more stoned part of life I found this. Vancouver Canada walking the street came upon the Talking Heads playing at the Commodore Ballroom. The first four rows were on their knees when the band came out. Excellent show.

Incredibly,,, in A HUGE New Jersey dance club hall with a thousand people, literally a thousand looking for love, the biggest bars were vast, everyone huddled there already friday night🎉buzzed blasted to the moon. I mean juiced , and Panama Red had just made an appearance big time. Your directed own movie was now in widescreen technocolor. David Byrne comes out on a ways away little stage by himself. Me and only one other cute girl are there, he plays this, we dance our brains out together by ourselves all alone. It was a mind blowning unbelievable moment for us. When done his set, for just the two of us, he said, " Thank you very much." Sometimes life is truely madness, a joy, and whacked out bizarre. I do now believe in God. Thank you.

As someone who has struggled with self-confidence and personal harmful tendancies. I always cry at this scene because it reminds me. That within each of us lies knowledge and experience no one else will ever know. That even with those who some believe lesser have things we never lived or thought of. Hence much how we don't know what is being said here, so to do we not always know of other life. This teaches us to value others and never look at a fellow person as lesser or unimportant. Lest their tears mix with the rain and become lost forever. Validate others love them as you kin.

Such great music! But will someone please find David some pants that fit? I'm an old fan, been here since the days of Burning Down The House and the giant suits -- but this just hurts!
