Thanks for doing this good work on the internet haha. Lists are good for quick/shallow content. And videos are good for learning an depth. No education in a list, but it can shorten the time to application! Love that you made this list in writing! Thank you 👍👍

I do have to appreciate that you are leaving this comment as the chap with a series of 10+ minutes PowerPoint presentations on your channel. More info here: weand.me/connectors-summit And after that you want to go deeper, I work with one small cohort of other facilitators/trainers each year in April through Engage to Educate: weand.me/engage-to-educate/ Thanks for asking :-) Would love to meet!

Thinking about how to implement the "closing keynote" from the audience and what that looks like.
@chad.littlefield15 күн бұрын
Lots of options, but one possibility is an Idea Swap where everybody writes down one of the golden nuggets/gems they got from the event on a 3x5 notecard. Then, same mechanics as a "question swap" I've described on the channel many times, except it is sharing/discussing the idea on the card, swapping, then pairing up with the next person. Awesome way to review the "best of" the event in a way that involves everyone...but in a relatively low risk 1:1 semi-structured conversation format.

"and next time..." gets people thinking beyond the now and what are their next steps. also great when providing feedback so that is does not focus on the negative. It keeps us focused on growth.
@chad.littlefieldАй бұрын
Love this. My favorite question version to get at this is "what is something you would like to do more of?" And it can be asked in relation to a particular context, meeting, piece of content, etc.
@ekaterinasergeyeva453Ай бұрын
You're so right! Deeper questions show that you're interested in really getting to know the person, they show interest
@chad.littlefieldАй бұрын
A good question is "evidence of caring." And a lovely symptom is that a good question tends to give somebody else the power or ability or choice to share something that is important to them.

Iuse the call out feature in my zoom meetings. How can I mass call out rather individually going through the steps individually?
@petermccarthy4975Ай бұрын
i'd love some examples of stating you intentions in less formal even social situations.
@chad.littlefieldАй бұрын
Hmm, I dive into these more deeply here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/gXycfIhvbMeDmck but one example might be, "Hey, you all want to come over for dinner tonight, so that we can enjoy 3 hours with no phones and good people?" Being clear about intention involves a small level of social risk. But the benefit is almost always worth it because you invite EVERYBODY to be playing the same game-or opt out of the game altogether which is just as important.

Thank you so much for this! I was figuring out how to integrate these into an event where they already have lanyards they are determined to use, too! So this gives me a couple ways to integrate them without competing with the standards ones, but still make a huge impact. And I'm already doing the insight wall at this conference so I love the idea of adding these name tags to that wall.
@chad.littlefieldАй бұрын
Yes!! ANDDD...I've found that event organizers don't necessarily mind "competing with the standard nametag" but having people stick it on the back and flipping it around for connection-specific sessions, breaks, or meals too.
