Excellent upgrades on an excellent engine.

I turbocharged the Duratec engine, it took some effort, but the external ecu made my job easier.

I have this. The biggest problem is that dash screen does not have customization possibilities. It has f.e. rpm fixed in the middle and i do not need it. Also it would be nice to know in detail how Can bus communication protocol is packed through bluetooth so it could be possible to implemented to other Dash screens. This is actually Can bus - Bluetooth media converter and Dash app has only limited data possible to fetch from Can bus/ ecu (in my case KMS MD35).

I dont know.much about engines but I do trust my ears. My ears tell me this engine is equivallent to Ferrari. The ferrarri modial was.a four banger. Im not saying the ford engine was better only that the notes produced sound verymuch like formula one. I believe in general fords german engine may be superior to usa made ford engines. I guess the hot new fad is to install Yamaha motorcycle carburetors r1 model on the 2.0 duratec engine. From what little ive seen this cbination adds a certain zest to old mgbs. But the suspension has to be beefed up and the differential must be in top shape.. Im guessing a xke rear end would take the 200+ horses o.k. but im not an automotive engineer, im just a hack!

In the.mgb i think he said 7500 rpm rev. Limit.

I think the technician from the other channel said about 200 horse.

What 4wd transmission layout did you use? I can’t see the gearbox or where you have taken the drive shaft from to power the front wheels.
