I grew up watching this as a kid and in my mid teens (1976) visited Evoluon. It was owned by Philips Electronics which was the biggest company in Eindhoven. The building was amazing although the exhibits were getting rather dated and the company hadn't changed much inside from what the video showed. I believe it still exists as a conference centre.

I have been looking for Floyd on Fish. Any chance of getting hold of a copy? It's unavailable to buy sadly.

I have it on DVDR somewhere, Peter. Meanwhile, I am trying to DL from elsewhere as we speak. Will upload here if I can, but The Stranglers music playing through it may put the mockers on? I can get it to you some other way, perhaps. It was a great show.

Well, Episode 1 made it up. Peter! I'll upload more tomorrow. ; )

Proper Ambulance siren, as i remember them;-NOT the pathetic squealing of the present, "as if someone is being rushed away for a last minute sex change"!.

I mostly only knew William gaunt from the Champions. He's great here. I first noticed Phillip Madoc when I watched Dr. Who and the brain of Morbius with Tom Baker. Just love him describing frogs having sex in Porridge too - a classic.

Thanks for this. A very sombre and disturbing story about rural family life but very realistic. Great acting performance from Graham Haberfield as the psychologically affected farmhand.

Lynch - Its only fifteen quid. Was probably a lot of money back in the 1970s.

True. At a guess, more like £50 now?

Odd, this must have been filmed in Reading / Wokingham / Newbury area. The buses all have Berkshire registrations, and are fleet numbered in the Alder Valley series. Nice when they had cafes in bus stations.
