Buyer beware. It's 10 year warranty on the machine, but you have to do the repairs. The Labor 90 warranty, is 90 days from when you buy it. The cords come out, it comes of it's track. I regret this purchase now. Their customers service is the worst.

This machine is wayyyyyy overpriced. I had this. And a bioforce. Both had constant tension. Bioforce way simpler. Way cheaper. For close to 3 grand. And zero smart technology. Overly complicated.

I bought a used one a year ago, beat the shit out of it, maxed it out for leg presses, and the cam straps SNAPPED. I had to rebuild that bitch, and it sucked. like 40 screws, and the original owner tightened the shit out of every screw and bolt.

I've had my Revolution for 17 years, use it regularly (though not with a ton of weight since I'm an old fart), and have only had to replace one 10-pound weight. It's picked up a bit of a creak under load on the right side, so will use some teflon lubricant to see if I can stop that. I'm diligent about taking the load off the machine after every workout. Basically, my machine has been rock solid. Hope yours will last as long once you get this warranty repair done.

Good video. I'm a 250-pound bodybuilder and I use the Xtreme 2SE. Nice machine, but those Power Rods have snapped on me a few times and they will lose some resistance over time as well. Too bad the company filed Bankruptcy because they made good products. Just need to update them to match the competition. Keep the videos coming!

I am really enjoying the videos about the Revolution. Like yourself, I have had problems reaching back for the handles while doing chest presses. My model is the Ultimate II, but it can be a real challenge to reach back and then bring the handles up as if doing a curl. You mention going to failure, but from what I can see, you are going to "really hard". There are several authors/You Tube influencers out there who promote going to failure and (and forgive me if I somewhat misquote them)they advise that you SLOWLY start the movement and only stop when you cannot get any further movement. Most of us(certainly me at times)think we are going to failure but in fact we stop short. Mentally, that last rep, where it seems almost impossible, is the one that does the most good. You probably need a trainer to cajole you(or encourage you)to get that last rep. It is really, really hard, but it is worth it. I'd suggest you query "Momentary Muscular Failure and you should see a good number of videos that might help. Suggestions: Dr. Ben Bochicchio, Ellington Darden, Drew Baye, Dr. Doug McGuff, among others. Another suggestion I'd make is to reduce the number of reps and sets. If you are like most people, 2-3 workouts are enough. Probably 30 minutes each workout, no more. If you are truly going to failure, you won't be able to do 3 sets of 15. Just give it a try, I think that you'll see improvements and notice less wear and tear on your body. At my age(69)I do 6 exercises, 1-2 X's per week. When I go to Planet Fitness, I am in and out in 20 minutes and I am so wiped out that I can barely walk in a straight line to my car. Many of the HIT trainers encourage a very slow rep speed, anywhere from 3-4 seconds the positive, and same on the negative. Others shoot for 10 seconds. What matters most is to di it in complete control and smoothly. Also, don't lock out your arms on, for example, the overhead press. You don't want the bones to give your muscles a break. I had to consciously pay attention to how I am doing my exercises so as to stress ONLY the muscles. Just my suggestion, no negative implications intended. Cannot wait to see you go all through the various exercises you do, so keep up the good work. One very serious suggestion is that you ditch that Lions short for an Eagles one! Hah, I don't think so.

Bowflex is pure marketing hype and abysmally designed equipment. I trashed my rotators using a flex rod Ultimate. When bench pressing, to bring the entirety of the resistance to the start position, one must reach waaay back, behind the head and pull a full resistance load from zero to the start position - putting unnecessary and damaging stress on the soft tissue of the shoulders with ZERO exercise benefit. That POS ended up on the curb for pickup. These newer Revolutions are just as craptacular - plastic parts waiting to fail. I suggest getting a good power cage with a Smith attachment for a real workout.
