Do you guys use EQ?

Of all the acoustic guitar comparison videos I've watched, this represents "the gold standard," the most methodical and useful one I've seen. This comparison formula is perfect, and has been a great help to me.

Cedar - Hands down! I always give spruce tops a go in the guitar store, but inevitably it's always a cedar top that follows me home. I split my time between 3 countries. I just bought a CG-142C tonight for my place in Hong Kong. It's my 4th Yamaha classical. Such an amazing sound and great quality for a low price point.

There’s a massive difference between them. The A5R is vastly superior in every way. More depth and dimension. Don’t use your phone speaker to hear, use a good speaker or headphones. It’s a huge difference

Do they have the same strings on them, same age strings, any test/comparison is really null and void otherwise. Too many variables, both nice

When I purchased this about a year ago, I was hoping that I'd love it, but alas, I did not. It's comfortable to play but the sound quality is mediocre at best. Tinny with little character. I find the tone of the GS Mini to be far superior as well as having a much better gig bag.

The A3R sounds more damped and the A5R sounds more lively.

It isn't easy to find smaller acoustic electric guitars that work for jazz players. I'm going to go check this one out and hope to get back to you.

Problem nowadays is you test two same guitars from Gibson or Martin and they could sound absolutely different... This means you have to go to the shop and try it, if you can found it! Here is where the trouble born. Almost impossible try your 2,3 favourites guitars in the same shop or found it... And then when you are sure what you want, you buy it online and maybe what you get is another different think that you expected. In conclusion, don't trust the brand on the Headtsock or what you expect a brand supose to give you. Try it and if you are in love, buy this exact instrument.

Tone is subjective but these models with those fat frets and compound radius board play better than the Gibson equivalents.
