Im not gonna say that 405 lbs isn't shit, but it's really not all that impressive for a deadlift. I've seen so many small dudes that weighed 150 lbs at most rip 500-600 lb deadlifts that this dude doesn't have any excuses.

Started nutrition plan, I train exclusively strength and my coach said the weight will fall off naturally if I stay in the plan. Already down 30 pounds. I do sets of 5, I usually do 215x5 and lower the weight if needed, I make sure I hit failure every set. That 230 lbs though, was not difficult in the slightest, it felt really smooth coming up and I probably could have done 245

True but it’s not like I just had this strength to begin with. This video is a year or so down the line, my max bench a year ago was 115 and now it’s 235. This didn’t pop from just mass but it also popped from a year of hard work and dedication from which I decided to bring myself from a weak little bitch to one of the strongest kids in my grade

Now put the seat at the lowest possible position and try again. Doesnt really mean anything if you are doing what amounts to 1/4 reps. Get it really low to have a full range of motion. Your strength will fall off a cliff and it will actually be hard.
