Same noise in my MY22 Arteon. Dealer had my car for 4 months (yes 4 months!) and the noise is returning after 1 week back with me.

if you have this noise clean the sunroof seals with propanol (rubbing alcohol) then use VW part G052141A2 (krytox paste) to lubricate the seals. hard to believe this fixes that rattling sound but it does. if you have a really loud mechanical rattling sound adjust the rear sunroof height up a mm or so by loosening the 2 T20 screws at the rear and lifting up the glass panel a little

When LKS is active the center lane diagram in the digital cockpit where ACC normally shows has lane markings that occasionally flash white. The manual mentions that meaning it is regulating LKS but that also gray line markings are regulating. Does anyone really understand what is happening here?

I have the exact same noise in my 2016 GTI autobahn. I read from your other comments the part. But where exactly did you put this lubricant in the sunroof? because i cant isolate the sound on mine?

Sorry for the late reply, when I opened the roof I spread the line everywhere I believe two surfaces were to rub, particularly the main seal..

My dealer just installed a clear, 'car wrap film' strip on the vertical metal surface rear of the sunroof rear seal. This did not eliminate noise at all. I believe the creak is coming from the plastic and metal components as they come together in the plastic grove. I put Velcro on three strips on the black tray. I thought it fixed the noise, but then it came back. Perhaps the rear / bottom of the grove is the source of contact? I also tried the flat spot in the middle rear of the tray accessible from the tilt position. Still squeaked, so moved on. Also used that German rubber treatment, not helping...Still looking...

I fixed mine by putting some adhesive backed felt strips (cut to about the size of a business card) on the little plastic pan where the rubber gasket sits when the sunroof is closed. Open the sunroof all the way up and you'll see the pan. I think it makes noise when rubber rubs against the plastic

I'll check into it for you. However the bulletin places plastic or something of that nature. I had it done, and just as I heard and expected it didn't work. As your dealer for a stick of dry lube. It's a genuine vw product. Then apply it to all rubbing surface. If u do that your set. I have some here I can send it to u. I have a golf R now..no mountain offered, so u can have it.

Ty Mac so I had my GTI in for service recently. I asked them to look at the sunroof and to maybe apply a “dry lube” on the seals. The service writer looked at me like I was from another planet. Never heard of a dry lube. I referred to this video of yours and he just said let our certified VW tech sort this out. Lol.... sometimes I think people online know more than the actual “certified” people. I called their parts department today and asked if I could purchase a VW dry lubricant....again I got silence..... I explained my sunroof issue and said I just want to buy the VW dry lubricant. After searching and searching he found a part number of G060567A2. He says it’s a 100 mil bottle of “special lubricant” and cost $85. I wanted to hold off on ordering this as I wanted to confirm with you that this is the right stuff? Also, $85 seems crazy expensive, don’t you think?

Actually traded for a new golf R and a week later someone wrote off my old GTI while on a test drive :-( I'm sure the roof really creaks now lol.

There is service bulletin about this known issue. Dealer can fix it by applying protective film on body where sunroof touches. U can easily google this.

she had it the next day,...everything went great no cancer, she is getting her colostomy removed and her bowel hooked back up
