You make the guitar sing man, great music. Actualy I did stumble over your music by a clip about the NC disaster because of hurricane Helene. I had to find out, who is playing there. 🖖😃👌

Really digging all of this. You've got a great way of expressing tunes we're all used to hearing in a very original, creative jazzy way. GREAT stuff! BTW, I also have an Iris DF - I'd love to know what tunings and string type/gauge you're using for these. I could listen to this all day.

@@Northernbreed1738 hey thanks for the kind words! I use Dadarrio 12-53. I bought this @dustystrings in Seattle. I use standard tuning and drop D most of the time. Sure love this guitar!!! Glad you’ve got one too

Got recommended to me randomly, sounds good! If I am a bit nitpicky about the sound, there is a bit too much string scratch/percussive noise for this style of light melodic playing, maybe a dynamic EQ with a narrow-ish band up in there somewhere in the high mids could help, or like a de-esser or de-click maybe lol. Just trying to offer constructive critique. Other than that, enjoyed the playing and sound!

Hey there, sorry if the recording quality was objectionable. I notice what you're saying now. Might take this down. Playing is a bit shaky as well.

@@forestwilsonguitarist I just wanted to say that my initial comment did come off as a bit douchey, I really didn't mean to sound like a hater. I think none of what I said should take away from enjoying the music you played.
