Pizza in Manhattan is mostly MID. If you want great pizza you have to go to the suburbs.

I Just found your skill share video link which I image will answer my question. I am traveling to Prague, Bratislava, Budapest, Vienna, Fussen over 12 days in September and being from Oz may never be in Europe again. Is It possible to learn how to capture and video edit half as good as you to in a few months?

Erin's course is a good start! It takes a lot of practice - we aren't perfect by any means, but we got to this level by shooting and editing over 150 videos - with time you just get better! That being said, the best thing to do is to just get out there and do it. Sounds like an awesome trip!

Thanks for the video, trying to decide whether to take the plunge. I have not done vanlife yet but I wonder if you can put an inexpensive water level meter in the gray tank to monitor that so you have piece of mind?
@travelingatlas
@travelingatlas 3 ай бұрын
Yes, if (hopefully when!) I build another van out, I would likely frame it in under the van, and I would have a simple level meter and automated valves so that it's easier to dump etc. The only time this becomes an issue is in really cold weather when it could freeze, but then you would just have to be diligent to empty it out quickly of it's below freezing.

Why do most people do a platform bed instead of a hydraulic bed? Is it just for the trunk area? A hydraulic bed is #1 on my list because it would be very difficult for me to have to convert a seating area to a bed every day, and I definitely want a large seating area. It would be my office and craft area.
@travelingatlas
@travelingatlas 7 ай бұрын
Yeah for us it was the trunk, and coming home to a bed that was always made and immediately ready to get into was worth the space that you're missing during the day.

I would suggest van life us better than buying a permanent house and getting stuck at one location, no flexibility plus house cost us increasing everyday and renovation charges, etc. You can buy a van house with just half of the cost of what you would pay for a traditional house. So you save money and travel on wheels. Now the other pros and cons about vanlife like lacking social connections or missing houselife and ❤its comfert. So for this you can live on rent guesthouse or apartment once in a while for a change and again continue van life. So it doesn't gett boring. I think in India Vanlife is not that difficult considering the above factors. It can easily be sustained. Indians go for it guys. Work hard, save money, get some skills to do remote work and buy a caravan instead of house and invest surplus money in some investment to generate regular cashflow. With plans everything is possible.

Hi there! I have a very random question: How was the ferry ride there? I'm going next month as part of my dream trip and the only thing I'm nervous about is motion sickness... not for myself, but people around me. I have emetophobia. The last ferry ride I went on was not pretty... Any insider details are appreciated. Thank you!
@travelingatlas
@travelingatlas Жыл бұрын
Honestly, great question. The ferry ride was very intense - on our ride back one of the staff members passed out due to motion sickness. There were a lot of waves and the ferry moved quickly. In your situation I would look into getting a seaplane - they book up quickly though and are much more expensive.

My husband and I want to live the van life. We've been talking more and more about it and getting excited. All in all, do you think the van life is worth the money, time and maintenance to get started? Was it all worth it in the end?
@travelingatlas
@travelingatlas Жыл бұрын
Yes it was definitely worth it. Approach your van build like an investment - if you do a good job, you will be able to sell it for more than you paid for it (your sweat equity counts!) So monetarily, totally worth it. The experience was a roller coaster! Some of the best days we've had mixed with some of the worst. Van life isnt easy but we loved the experience and actually were just talking today about building another van! May do a bus this time...
