2 days ago i found the Headspace album here in Uruguay in a alley disc store. I really enjoyed the album, and now i have a copy in my cellphone!! ❤

@@jazzboy thx. Not the ideal listening space, (concrete basement) but no space in my living room. And surely no space for my DIY Altec that you see in the back… lol I have a pair of Martin Logan Aerius I with some prima Luna monoblock tube amps that take less space. But also have many other pairs. Addiction…

The sound is detailed, but it sounds like a summer garden....I think he can't listen for more than an hour. That chimney can be replaced with something less noisy. Otherwise very good pieces in the crossover.

how do you like the diy altec's compared to some of the other vintage 12" driver builds? I run a diy altec414 with no crossover - just a cap on the 806 tweets. this opens up the tones to more natural sounds at the slight expense of some tightness down low - but worth the cost. Also I couldn't live with the horns (or any other wave guide tried). So run the tweets with no directional horn shaping. just sitting on a piece of foam on top of cab. this greatly opens up the tones and moves things more natural. Also play the old classic rock metal punk through 'em drivin by old kit tube integrates. rock on!

Ah nostalgia! I remember when you played with Taproot in Belgium... That's when I fell in WUV with Pulse Ultra haha Seems your drumkit sure has grown since then :) As a guitarplayer myself, I was (am) very impressed with Dom's playing... Wouldn't surprise you I got into The Chronicles Of Israfel too :D

Its 2024, im about to be 36, and ive loved this album since 9th grade. Ive been listening to it on repeat at work, and it just gets better with age. As i grow, my appreciation spreads to different aspects of this album. Its a true hidden gem. ❤ thanks for making this music!

I have since recapped all the electrolytics on the whole console. Power supply, 18 preamp strips, 12 group channels, master channels, auxiliary channels, CPU. I used Nichicon fine gold, Elna silmic ii, panasonic fc, rubycon, vishay caps. long tedious job. i did it in steps. but now sounds great. just need to calibrate. having a Few issues understanding the manual I'm gonna contact him in the UK I guess who's the master for these.

From my understanding he recorded other songs in 2 other bands(Recepter and Shadowed By Folly) and there is no information about his other projects. Cifarelli and Feldman are on other paths

Hi. Still not done tweaking. But the phone mic doesn’t give a good representation of the sound… mic pointing downward. Etc… there’s more mid range in the room when hearing it live.

Are those self made amps and preamp?

The preamp is a Chinese preamp that I completely replaced all the inside. All cap and resistors. Used all boutique parts and Russian pio caps also. The mono blocks are Heathkit w4-am with bigger power transformer. Also completely re capped and all resistors changed with Boutique parts.

If you guys reunite and go on tour you would fill up so many venues. Your album is a jewel that many more people have discovered over the years. Im sure your fan base is 10 times bigger now. That's a lot of money on the table too btw.
