I'd actually recommend giving different element djinn to party members. Isaac does well with fire djinn because it increases his already high attack and he'll be your primary damage dealer. He also keeps revive in his back pocket in a pinch. He's probably best on ninja or samurai with wind and fire though. Giving Garet wind djinn can help shore up his pretty bad speed and mana, granting him more versatility. Admittedly, he's best on the paladin line with earth and water though. At least iirc. Ivan with water djinn makes him a better healer than Mia ever was and plays into his huge mana pool. Mia does well with earth djinn, giving her access to both wish and revive. If you have some spare wind djinn lying around, she's better as a pure mage though.

You didn't mention that you can set L and R to be shortcuts for a psynergy. I usually have one set to Reveal and the other on Mindread. Unless I am traveling through the Suhalla Desert I set Douse to a shortcut for the Tornado Lizards!

One thing I have found helpful to know is the game's use of RNG (random number generator) and how to manipulate it. That way you can easily get the rare item drops. The best place to do that is in the Venus Lighthouse in the room the psynergy crystal on the ground. You can get nearly all of the rare drop items there if you manipulate the RNG.

@Nyperold018
@Nyperold018 5 ай бұрын
I do! As for favorite... well, I haven't played TotK yet, just BotW, so it's going to be from that pool. In the Ebara Forest, there are a pair of fairly tall statues. If you look closely, you may notice that one eye looks a little different... especially when you notice the twinkle indicating an item. So you climb up and grab what turns out to be a Luminous Stone... and a Korok appears! I've never seen that anywhere else in BotW. I guess the closest would be the ones where you find three trees (or cacti) and pick fruit off the one that has a lot until the only one left corresponds to the fruit on the other two trees.

The biggest piece of advice I can give people playing their first persona game, don't rush it. Take everything in, take notice of the theme of the game, try to find the hidden meanings in things. Really try to absorb and understand everything

Makes me wonder if the blocks you're standing on used to be in those holes. What made them come down? A quake? A Terminan making platforms to get to the Observatory without swimming? Who knows?
@zuzhi64
@zuzhi64 7 ай бұрын
Thanks for your insightful comment! I see what you're saying, but seems odd they'd just build platforms without a more simplified path to the Observatory. Or. Perhaps as you say, the platforms did come crashing down from above, and builders will eventually get to connecting these into one streamlined route. If Nintendo dropped hints of construction materials around the area then I could see this being a viable option.

Initially I thought I'd hate Junpei for the rest of the game. Let's be honest, he was being a d**k. But, I get that he was feeling jealous and sidelined. Until the game starts progressing and his character growth becomes extremely strong when he faces a difficult situation. Junpei becomes one of the best ultimate bro. Yet, he's still a messy git!

Here's some more tips I'd like to add: 1) Early on the story you will recieve an item called Water of Life. It revives one party member fully, but it sells for 2250. Sell it and use that money to buy good gear in the early game. Later on, when you'll be swimming in money, buy it back from any item shop for just 3000. 2) Summoning earlier. When you already have at least one djinni in standby, you can access the Summon option in battle. Notice how you can even select summons for which you don't have enough djinn in standby? You can use your slowest character to "pre-emptively" use a summon then use the other characters to fill the djinn requirements. This can let you use summons 1 or 2 turns earlier then usual if you plan correctly. Check the status of your character at the start of a turn with the "Status" command. Characters take turns following the Agility stat from higher to lowest. 3) Since inventory space is limited, try to free space by giving one chracter all copies of the same items, since many of them "stack" on the same items slot. For example Herbs or Game Tickets especially should be given to one person.

@zuzhi64
@zuzhi64 7 ай бұрын
Glad to be of service. What part of it feels clunky to you do you feel? It's probably the fact you have to manually swap between each skill one by one in a lengthy way right? I suppose the system is meant to be straightforward in that sense for players to experiment. And yes, the game doesn't exactly give a proper explanation on mechanics. Thank the lord for the internet and players spending hours upon hours to turn the game inside out.

This game is really a blast both for newcomer and veteran players. The art direction, the music, the character, the storyline everything is perfect as it is My only critism is how easy this game is. With many new features such as Rewind, Baton/Shift system, fortune telling, Theurgy, Big Clock, Twilight Gem, and most importantly the removal of Fatigue System, makes this game a bit too easy epecially for veteran players and for 2nd playtrough (both for New Game+ or if you want to play a new savefile on harder difficulty). Even in merciless difficulty, if you know what your doing (like know every enemy/boss weakness, how to combine OP persona Early on, the quickest way to grind and how to effectively progress through social link) the game will still easy to progress. This was not a problem for your 1-3rd times playtrough, but after 3rd playtrough I found this game really boring. But considering Atlus makes this game not only for veteran players but also a for newcomer I still give it a pass. And considering this game takes 80-100 hours to complete, I'd said it wasn't really a big problem
