Trijntje is my favourite singer. Im a New Zealander and found her a few years ago. My wife is Dutch. He treatment of songs is magical, her voice quality never changes from low to high registers. This performance including Leonardo on guitar and the back up singers is perfect, and don't forget this is LIVE!!!! I rate Trijntje up the with the likes on Eva Cassidy, Lady Gaga, Alison Kraus.

I stumbled onto her years ago, after seeing some videos of Leo (I'm a jazz guitarist). Then tracking down his work history, found Trinjtje and agree, she is magical. I could listen to the live recordings with the Dutch Metropole Orchestra every day for the rest of my life, I think! Her inflection, timing, etc is just something else. I think I read that Burt Bacharach proclaimed her his favorite singer of his songs, which is saying something, given his history with Dionne Warwick:)

@@yebdox Yes, you are right.Before he passed Burt spent time with Trijntje and said he considered her the best exponent of his songs. I agree 1000%.

Her version is gorgeous! She did my childhood crush, Michael Jackson, proud! I came back to Michael's music 13+ years after he tragically left us, and I stayed away from him for a while until all the media madness stopped, and I had plans to follow him on what would have been his last tour, but that never happened. The day of his passing was a year since I graduated from high school, and I remember watching the service that day and crying with little Paris and the rest of the world! We not only lost a great musician and entertainer, but a kind human being as well. I did not believe anything that the media said about him. I would have loved to be his friend and I would have been there by his side. Fast forward to years later and two years after the COVID-19 pandemic, in July 2022 during the summer off from college, I put on "This Is It" for the first time and saw my childhood crush after 13+ years away from him, his family, and his music. My father was the one who introduced me to Michael when I was little, and as I was watching the movie, all the memories of me singing with Michael and his brothers in the Jackson 5 when I was a little girl came back. And now, I'm rediscovering the Jackson 5 all over again, and I'm also discovering Michael's other songs including his solo work for the first time! I'm catching up on all the music that I've missed out on throughout the years, and I'm also checking out the music of his other family members as well including his daughter Paris, and his siblings (including his little sister Janet), and his nephews in 3T, and also the rest of his sisters and brothers. Let's just say that I'm never leaving the Jackson family for this long ever again! No matter how many musical artists that I listen to, Michael will always be my first and true musical love! Even though I couldn't meet him in person, it will have to wait. "This Is It" made me reunite with him virtually, and when I saw his face on the screen for the first time in years, I was crying! And I whispered to him as I looked on the screen, "Michael, I'm back." He is still missed to this day, and this woman did a remarkable tribute album to him. It's on KZbin, and I highly recommend it to everybody! Even my father likes it!

Never forget the Media threw him under the bus just to further their own pathetic careers and spewed hate....Innocent until Proven Guilty??? Never Forget....and Look at the Man (or woman) in the mirror first. Only one Man walked on Water and said those free from sin can cast the first stone. Too bad most of us, including me still crawl and don't walk it.

The first time I heard this song, many years ago, was by Michael Jackson (he was still very young). This version is fabulous. Great voice! And the guitar of Leo Amuedo is awesome, he's the best. Beautiful!
