@@synthymental hey there thanks for offering help! i fixed it and i'm leaving this comment just to let people know in case they have the same issue: when i pre-composed the type i had thicked the first option as default, i rewatched the video and saw that you had the second one thicked (Move all attributes etc. etc.) so just by changing that i fixed it, thank you anway, sick tutorials

I think I found something I wanted to recreate, started thinking I needed to get a CRT tv and record with a camera but turns out that I don't. You are pure gold, man. Thank you for sharing your knowledge! I've never seen tutorials like yours before. You invite people to explore, play, and create new things! I would really like to ask how you learned all of that. The style you show is difficult to acquire from other tutorials or courses. Is it all experimentation, or do you also have great references to learn from? I truly appreciate your work! :)

Thank you so much! I truly appreciate it! Mostly, I'm just exploring. I'm a bit tired of the usual effects, so I'm experimenting with different combinations to discover something fresh. But it's not easy-After Effects is quite old software, and it's a well-trodden path, so finding something genuinely new can be challenging. I'm also learning creative coding to develop unique effects (maybe I'll even create some tutorials about it). And who knows, I might share some mood boards, too, so stay tuned!

i dont know if you answer questions but when you make that turning transition, do you thinkits possible to use another shape to transistion? like when you use the letter S it turns into another letter? great tutorials btw!

Yes, you could change the letter (source text) when it's rotating, like when we see the side of the letter. If you make the transition in the fastest phase, it should be a seamless transition. It's a bit hard to explain in text
