Gritador - it wasn’t just adding crunch like the plumes or nasal like the tube screamer.

I've had one since 2015 the only thing that disappointed me was the strap on the case hinge. Mine was so short the top only opened about 45° and the lid kept slamming down I was so afraid of the metal crashing into the spruce top so I cut it with scissors

As I am in the process of putting together my first real board, I want a Plumes largely for the top jacks....it does a lot for its low price also.

How are they gonna justify the price difference to the Am Pro II now when then Player II now has rounded fretboard edges, as well as their "cold rolled" steel block? I know labor is more expensive in the US, but come on, those were their unique selling points, plus the sculpted neck heel, which is the only real differentiator now..
@bernardm306621 күн бұрын
Yes this is what I was thinking too. A lot of features of the higher end models are now in the mexican line. I think there is a lot of competition in this price bracket and they need to offer more stuff. The price is even harder to justify in Europe where an Am Pro II costs more than twice as much as the Player.

You sure these new Player II Strats have an actual steel block?

Hi, Jonathan Lindsey. Was surprised when you introduced yourself as my name is Jonathan Linde (e is pronounced like a y). Used to live in an apt overlooking Stanley Park in Vancouver; love Victoria. Like the guitar but just ordered an SG w/ Maestro.

I own Yamahas LL-36, CPX-15W, CPX-15N and just got an LS-56 ARE II Concert. By far, the finest instrument I have ever played. Yamaha handcrafted guitars are out of this world. Everything you gave in your review is 100% accurate.

Nice demo. Love the Shirt. You've gotta try a Barber Gain Changer SR = Phenomenal with a Strat. Protein was a bit Noisy. Both pedals sounded good. oNe LovE from NYC

I love my Larivée! It takes a few years for the guitar to settle into itself; the sound actually improves with time.

The Carbon is one of those pedals that made me really mad. I don’t know if mine was faulty, but no matter which setting, it would not saturate. It was always a clean boost.

Just my opinion as an x owner of the lightspeed.BORING,MUCH LIJE THE TUMNUS AND THAT JACKSON SILVERTONE PAPERWEIGHT .ITS ALL HYPE ON THE LIGHTSPEED IN FACT ON GREER IN GENERAL....BUT AS ALWAYS THE BROWNE PROTEIN DRIVE HAS YET TO BE BEATEN.THE BEST DUAL GOING...AS FOR THE OTHER MUCH BETTER OUT THERE FOR LESS BANK.TRY THE JSA "HOT TODDY"MUCH MORE PEDAL FOR LESS.

Nice comparison. I’ve owned both at different times. I liked the Greer but I love and still own the Carbon. Just a great always on tone for me. Clean and a bit of that “jangly” BB thing, not overly bright, but sounds like it’s been balanced just right to my ears.
