Although the pad sounds on the Nautilus sound good I must say that the combi and pad sounds on my 1999 Korg Triton sound warmer and have more depth.

Sorry, but no. I've had every Korg Workstation from Trinity - M3-Triton Rack and Triton Extreme-Kronos, and now Nautilus AT. Kronos was the king, with 9 synth engines, no workstation still compares in sound. The Nautilus has those same sound engines and sounds the same, with the same voices. I also have a Fantom EX6, and the Nautilus sonically is still superior in many ways, in terms of pure sound.

How responsive the its semi-weighted action feel? Do you have other keyboards (without fully weighted hammer action), how would you compare the Liano's keybed's responsiveness/expressiveness compared to other non-weighted keybed keyboards? I'm planning to order one, but the nearest shop that has this piano is over 400km from me and I would have to sleep in a hotel just to try the Liano out in the piano store, not to mention the gasoline and additional costs of this trip, so your input on the keybed responsiveness (in comparison to other keybeds too) would be very helpful input for me. Thank you so much for your help!
@kaisfp
@kaisfp 3 ай бұрын
I forgot to mention sorry, I'm asking your opinion about the keybed's responsiveness specifically for the default "Piano 1" sound on the Liano. Can you play expressively with it when using the Piano 1 sound? Thank you again!
@Dvorkys
@Dvorkys 3 ай бұрын
Hi there! The keybed on Liano is a very light weighted - comparable to the synthesizer/hammond organ keys. It means it is very light compare to classical hammer action keybed (pianos). But overall I like this one - you're able to set the dynamics level. :) Greetings!

UPDATE: I bought the Korg Liano!! Thanks in part to you Pavel. It was your video that showed its attributes so well. Including its versatility. I must say i couldn't be happier. I used to have an older Yamaha P120. I sold it one day because I developed carpal tunnel and my fingers went numb after 10 minutes of playing. Because the Korg has a light touch, I CAN PLAY FOR HOURS!! no numbness at all. I can once again find my happy place, behind my piano! I haven't played in 10 years, but its amazing how fast I'm knocking the rust off my fingers! Thank you SOOO much for this video Pavel! Im not sure i would have made the decision to buy it without this amazing video!

Awesome playing! Do some random louder notes pop out occasionally? How much dynamic-control / velocity-control you feel when you play it? For example, as a comparison, I've seen the Yamaha Piaggeros have occasional loud notes popping out while playing due to the lack of velocity layers or perhaps wrong velocity layer programming or something like that. People say it feels like there is p, mp, f, but it feels almost like some mf samples are missing(?) so when playing crescendo it doesn't sound smooth as it gets louder, there is a jump in velocity level, if you know what I mean. Thank you very much for your help! I hope you have a great day!

Is the auto accompaniment also part of the nautilus?
@Dvorkys
@Dvorkys 2 ай бұрын
It is there, but in the very different form as it is known on "entertainment keyboards" like Korg's PA, EK series or Yamaha's PSRs, Tyros series. Basically you have the combination mode where you can "drive" the accompaniment by chords - you can set the scenes, but no rhythm variations, fill-ins, intro/ending sections, etc.

I'M blind and I'm considering buying a Nautilus, but I'm a bit concerned about the touch screen. Obviously, I wouldn't be able to use i it. How necessary is the touch screen usage of the keyboard? Weatbbs.
@Dvorkys
@Dvorkys 6 ай бұрын
Hi, I've been using the keyboards with touch screen over the decade. I don't have any issues with this, I think it's about the way how you would like to control the keyboard. I use the touch screen a lot with combination of knobs for studio work. The way how I control the keyboard during live gigs is switch pedal with prepared setlist (which is a great feature on Korg keyboards since the first Kronos came out) - so I don't have to use a touchscreen. Greetings!
