you need to grab up a kz1000 high compression piston.. and a megacam... you will stay ahead of them 2 strokes..

I see you've got a quick twist single cable throttle can you tell what it's off and where you got it and which carb is fitted. I'm in the midst of restoring one any tips to squeeze out a bit more bhp would be much appreciated. Cheers Tim

Sounds like a touch worn camchain has retarded the valve timing a tad. They rev better that way but there is a bit of hole at low revs.
