I'm at a complete dead end on my bear tracker I'm hoping you can help me. The machine only runs with like a quarter choke, I rebuilt the carburetor with OEM parts and I'm pretty sure I did it to specs. Replaced the intake, sprayed carb cleaner around to check for leaks, ect ect. And I'm still at a dead end it seems to run fine with a quarter choke even when I give it gas it doesn't bog or pop. Could it be my fuel&air mixture? I've tried many forums but no answers if you could help me I would really appreciate it.

Hi Jay, if there’s anything I’ve learned, no matter what I’m working on, if I’ve done all that I know and I still can’t get it to work, I bring it to an expert. It’ll be worth it in the long run with the time you’ll save. I did everything on this bike that I could. Once I got to a point where I wasn’t progressing, I stopped and brought it to an expert. He nailed it right away. My choke plunger was sticking a bit but that wasn’t the root problem. The root problem was that my front brakes were locked up slightly. So every time I’d try to go wide open throttle when driving it, the bike would stall. My mechanic unfroze the front brakes and it was fixed. Drives great now. No restrictions. And remember, when you’re not using the bike, run the tank empty and then run it with the fuel flow off at the carb to burn of the remaining gas in the bowl. Hope you have some luck with your bike like I did.

Little trick take a grinder and grind down the lip flat with the pipe and get some radiator hoes and slide of over the pipe and clamp it down with two hoes clamps and slide the carb on to it and clamp it down and it won’t ever happen again

No problem at all with the tires rubbing at full lock. There is enough clearance.

In response to Yamaha Wolverine's question about where to mount the solenoid, pause the video at 10:23, this will show a clear shot of the location where the solenoid is mounted. Two self-tapping screws were used to mount it to the frame. This location is low on the bike so if you are concerned about going through water and it getting wet, this may not be the best location. Otherwise, it worked out great.
