I love the separate ways the story varies and keeps your mind wandering which way it goes.

First the author says the streets are better quality than the female character finds elsewhere then immediately says "the ground was hollow and low'" What does that mean? Is it a nice street or is she walking on the ground? What does "hollow and low" mean? Are there puddles and sinkholes? This is frivolity and poor writing. "Morning darkness" also isn't a thing. And lets not have to hear the word "swallow" for a whole book.

Very scary how this stories government and society is almost exactly aligned to what has happened during the last too many years of democrat anti-American anti white marxist socialism. And this story came out long before this society and government all started being so terribly bad.

just looked at your site and I was surprised to find on your 2 lists of recommendations not a single title that had not amazon as publishers and that includes the one called NY Times Bestsellers. Now I don't read that paper but it strikes me that this seems a strange coincidence. Like they say: I don't believe in coincidences and I don't do amazon thank you. Still thanks for the upload. Can someone explain why they needed to get Daniel involved, couldn’t they have just done what they wanted to without him being involved? Am I missing something 😂

Why does this audiobook need an add every 5 minutes. I don’t see it to be any more necessary for all these ads in an Alex Lukeman novel than any other one of his novels. Others have a lot less. Very frustrating. This makes doing anything else while listening impossible.
