For some reason, my webcam is not recognised by aitrack. I've checked on the windows camera and my antivirus to make sure the app isnt blocked from it. it still says that there is no active video feed. someone please help.

i know this is a 5 year old video but i am being forced to upgrade from FS9 as i had to buy a new hotas that does not work on FS9. Do you remove static scenery the same way you do static airplanes? like one airport in fs9 i fly to has trees right in the middle of the taxi way. if the same thing happens in x pane to i juts click on the tree or how do i highlight the object i want to get rid of? you showed how to do a mass removal but how do remove 2 item? Thanks for the video i bookmarked it to refer back to so i can learn how to use world editor. all i would be doing is fixing taxiways and removing static scenery that is in the way. so this video is perfect for what i need.,

I love this tutorial and easier option for me instead of having to wear a track IR headgear. What settings would I adjust in Opentrack or AI Track app that would eliminate "sway"? Meaning; when I play Battle of Stalingrad, I can't lock or center my view on the gunner sights. You have to align your head almost perfectly with the webcam (and keep it there) so you can aim and shoot accurately right down the sights.

For ToLiss A321 you have to create the flight plan in simbrief and it will auto import it for you. Search for it in KZbin.

One good thing. What script code needs to be changed to move the start position? There are different X and Y values in the script. I am not familiar with them. In the current state, the data outputs in the upper left corner are always covered at XP startup.

That is not coded so it uses default start position in 2D mode. In order to set the starting position see page 4 of Lua document usermanual.wiki/Document/FlyWithLuaNGenManual.816059871.pdf . Following function needs to be called "float_wnd_set_position(demo_floating_wnd, 775, 650)". In VR it is not possible to set the starting position. This is a limitation with X-Plane API.

@@SimsSmith Unfortunately I have absolutely no idea about programming. Do I understand you correctly that I can insert the above mentioned line "float_wnd..." into the script? I tried it, but the script was immediately moved to quarantine. I have not mentioned VR.

It is only for MSFS 2020. Won't work for P3D or FSX.

Anyone new to VR and XP here are some of my tips. This is around HP Reverb G2 but similar tuning can be used for Quest and other HMDs. ***In Windows mixed reality portal under headset display*** Adjust level of details : Low Change app windows resolution : 720p Change : Optimize for performance Resolution : Automatic Upscaling (best performance) ***In SteamVR*** General Tab Motion Smoothing : On Render Resolution : 2456x2400 60% (depending on your system you can go higher or lower) SteamVR Home : Off ***X-Plane 12 (Remember VR is all about compromise!)*** First remove/disable all luxury addon in XP12 and that includes favorite like Traffic Global, Sim heaven, RealityXP, etc :( Run XP in 2D and bind VR/2D toggle (I use alt-v) Change graphic setting and move all performance killer slider all to left Texture Quality : High Ambient Occlusion : Lowest Renderer Resolution (FSR Supersampling): Off Antialiasing : None Anisotropic Filtering : 1x Cloud Quality : Low Shadow Quality : Aircraft Only Rendering Distance : Low World Object : Low Vegetation : Low Draw parked aircraft : uncheck ******* Restart X-Plane. Boot up to a isolated airport. Choose KTKI (I created this one shhh). Do airport, aircraft, livery selection all in 2D mode. When you are ready at the captain seat then switch to VR mode. Best to start with default Cessna 172 XP12 should look ugly BUT frame rate would be reasonable. From now on you can play with the sliders to find your sweet spot. Antialiasing is the biggest FPS killer out there but you need little to reduce shimmering.

Hey thanks for the vid! My G2 should be arriving within a week! (First VR) Do you find cockpit interaction easier with a mouse or thr VR controller?

VR controller for most everything. However sometimes VR controller is not detected by XP and that is when I use mouse to calibrate VR controller. Finally Laminar has an internal VR patch they are testing. Hopefully by the time you get your G2 that patch will be release to solve few glitches.
