Kagawa`s teacher, sensei Asai said once to our group - `Karate shouldn`t be a dance, as it`s now in sport karate! It`s a life or death situation!` The Norwegian guy is dancing like a chicken in trans... That`s what`s happening to the current karate! A pitiful Touch-and-go boy, Kagawa is ``MovingDeath``! 👋 I had great honor to practice with Asai and Kagawa (Katayama sensei in Nagoya) ... T.Asai also said once to us in Jap. izakaya - `The mind should be like a moon`! Years later...still pondering over, hehe... Whoever has practiced with the Japanese in Japan, will understand what I`m referring to! Blissful sport amateurs, will send only meaningless replies... 🤣😂

Is this the kind of fight where you get rewarded for pretending you killed your opponent with a "kiya" death punch into the body? They should try that shit in Kyokushin. Don't worry, ladies, I did my share of tournaments and katas. What a joke. Just for fun, do a drop in at a thai boxing place or kickboxing gym for some reality check. Better yet a bjj sparring. Bruised ego guaranted. Andy Hug is an exception, now that was the Warrior!

The day has came when the West no longer glorify Japanese karateka without truly knowing the greats of their own country. Japanophilia in karate is still an ailment which blinds the Western world and continues to make many feel lesser when in fact our karate has grown to not be as great but even better. Different frame type, different karate.

Kagawa unfortunately lost concentration and there is no doubt that it was a learning experience, because he lost his mental balance in overcoming a very good competitor; for what I noticed and I apologize for this mistake, but he (Norwegians) is left-handed, and it made a big difference. So this one deserves all respect as well and this never takes away the merit of Kagawa being an excellent karateka and instructor.

When a master with perfect control gets surprised by a less known fighter... Probably triggered by Steins mawashi geri that just missed, but could have landed way too hard. The rules are clear. This is not full contact and shihan Ted made a good call. For Stein to score on Kagawa like this was awesome though. Big respect to both!

when you are hit hard and fall but not knockouted or injured you are not yet hit with no control. had Kagawa hit hard the Norwegian he could have been knockouted. Kagawa can not do anything against the biased referee.

Levou muitos gyaku zuki no tórax. Oss.
Waza da to wa omoen ga... I don't think he faked the fall or that he remained in the floor on purpose. Kagawa should have showed respect by worrying about his opponent instead of turning around coldly.
