@@redeyes5568 it depends on the store. Stores that don’t try to match eBay for the older rounds generally charge $3 to $4 over spot. Lately, I’ve been paying $34 to $38 depending on what it is. Thanks for watching 😀

not all shops do it the same way. Gotta build a relationship with the staff at a shop with fair prices to get the best stuff for a good deal

@@SilverStruck thank you!! I was triggered by the 2 oz challenge 😂😂😂 I have the 5 oz Allegories too. I stopped buying Allegories 2 and 5 oz after growing tired of the cylinder type large format rounds. I prefer the diameter to increase as the weight increases so there’s more detail.

That Lawless round is amazing! If I remember correctly that was supposed to be the first in a series but ended up to be the only round they did, no others were made making that round very collectible.

Happy new year! I want to say that watching you round up art bars into your collection has been a fun. It's amazing how many you were able to add. The coin press design bar is a favorite of mine too. The press resembles the one depicted on Mexico's 1978-1980 1 Onza silver bullion round. Neat hockey themed bar. Even better that it is toned. I see Santa made it on your list. Good...this will help you stay off his naughty list. Hahaha. Interesting "Kilroy Was Here" bar. Had not seen this little character in years! Beautiful LAX bar. Love your #1 bar! Nice selection. I have to say that the honorable mention bar is an awesome one. The strong relief of eagle design and toning makes it that much more attractive. Looking forward to any 2025 bars you'll pick up. Surprisingly i don't have one of these books yet, but i tend to have a good eye for better Silver rounds. I've found many bars or rounds at shows and shops at a few bucks over spot. When they are worth an easy $10-50++ over spot. Just goes with handling and seeing many different designs, if you see something unusual or something you've never seen before. You just gotta pick it up!

good to find your channel, buying the budget priced Peace dollars, and storing up over time, building the sets is easier and will increase in value, thumbs up and subscribed, I agree that the obverse of the Peace Dollar is well crafted but the reverse is weak. And there is a definite ornate Victorian artistry to the Morgan Dollar Cameo. Thumbs up and subscribed

It’s a core principle that plays out in society as well…there’s a lot of ugly rich dudes 😂😂 Scanning the book solely for value was a worthwhile endeavor. I learned a lot along the way. I don’t believe there was a single R-1 or R-2 entry. Lots of R-3 are expensive in today’s market. The value of anything is how much someone else is willing to pay. I have 1 too, but the edges on the top aren't rounded. Also, on the back there's a big stamp of the exact weight of 10.18! I bought mine off ebay at least 20 years ago.

That darned book has been a blessing and a curse. I’m about halfway done with the search for your bar. As my dad used to say, “keep your shirt on” 🤣 Report upcoming. So far, it’s a $1250 cancelled Edgar Bergen - Charlie McCarthy bar. However, there are some without a value in the Rarity column that I’m convinced have to be worth more. A Christmas tree bar studded with diamonds and rubies? C’mon now 🤣 Picking the top 10 was tough. But dude, I’ve got a project ahead to reorganize the boxes. I put the bars back all Willy Nilly the following morning after shooting the vid. What a cluster!
