Another great effect Mark. Many thanks. The quality of your offerings are consistantly good. I may experiment with a tarot deck for this one.The red/black stack is better disguised and the Devil card can be used instead of the joker. Devil tarot card is traditionally associated with unlucky number 13.

Great work, I like it. I personally prefer a break and an invisible pass

Finally a version of the ACAAN for me. Impromptu, not overcomplicated and leaves me clean at the end. It's going in my routine, thanks.

For the beginners like me, when you shuffle 3 times, it would be easier to follow where the chosen card is if you put it face up 🙂

Member of my local magic club passed away in 2008 and his wife sold me his collection of bound ABRA magazines from years ago. Great addition to my book collection.

Nice one! Branching out from cards huh? You should print those and sell them, I'd have one like a shot! As an aside, you mentioned the late Paul Daniels... when I was at the BBC I used to work on the Paul Daniels shows we did. My job was balancing camera exposures on the fly as each shot changed. Doing that job the absolute worst thing you had to contend with was anybody wearing a white shirt or the like in an unscripted environment where they might move anywhere and you've got to make it look right! So Paul picks someone from the audience to help him cut delicious Debby McGee into three pieces in a box - the old favourite! And who does he pick? My father who just happens to be wearing the whitest shirt ever! Oh did I give him hell when I got home later!!!

What a fantastic story and what a job! I met Paul a few times, once in a local coffee shop near his home, he was very talkative. Shame he's no longer with us.

Also if you leave the back two panels off and just don't show the back side of the frame until the end of the trick, you can pull the mirror out of the frame leaving the ribbons behind! I've seen it done this way with one long ribbon instead of two
