LA Nik, you’re the only person in the world who can answer this question definitively. I’m buying my second bike. Do I go for a Harley Davidson fat boy, or a vrod?
@LANikThatmotorcycleGuy4 күн бұрын
well you should buy what you love but as an investment i would not buy the VRod.
@johannesjohannsson11054 күн бұрын
@@LANikThatmotorcycleGuy I understand that the resale won’t be there on the vrod, but I think even the low mileage ones are at rock bottom right now. You can find sub 10k miles vrods for less than $6,000. I like the Fat boys too, but even with high mileage they’re tough to find around my price point. Your videos are one of the reasons I got into bikes. Thanks for weighing in.
@vincentvelardi8924 күн бұрын
Definitely not the v rod or the fat boy. Street glide is best. You'll get more out of it
@johannesjohannsson11054 күн бұрын
@@vincentvelardi892 Depends what your ride is like, right? I’m mostly in town, but I commute to university a few days a week. I think a street glide might be too much bike for me.

Yah stay with what you are comfortable on.

For one person to house all these motorcycles cars etc I mean it's just insane. Millions of dollars of all this stuff just sitting there and never ever going to be used. What's the point of having all this stuff just sitting there and never being used and then at some point the person's going to die and then somebody else is going to have to take all this back to auction and auction it all off. It's just complete Insanity to buy all this stuff just to let it sit in a building. Personally if I was rich I would not want to buy all this stuff just to let it sit in a building. Don't understand the mentality of people. Does it matter if you can afford this all or not it's just completely ridiculous!

I'd love to have a 70s or 80s 2stroke. It's just something I wanted in high school. My dad bought me a new kawi 100 enduro but my mom made him return it. I wasn't mad at mom just sad I know it was something my dad wanted to do. Just got a little story of my life out..😊

I owned 3 of those Kikker 5150 motorcycles. I guess I started building, then riding. Got my license with the 110cc. Had a 200cc for a while, but I hit a pothole and it broke the frame. Totaled !! They were fun to tinker with & ride, but I had my title pulled on 2 of them. They didn’t have a federal safety sticker. Thats why they didn’t pass inspection. Couldn’t title it as a home built in MN. I bought a Yamaha frame and used the title & plate for my Kikker’s……….. 😂 They are pretty much extincted now.

When I went to the Ducati factory in Bologna, you could walk up to all the bikes in the museum and almost touch them. Factory tour, they taped up your lenses on your phone, no photos allowed. Loved pit lane stuff you did. Peace.
