Salam Mr. Mustafa Akyol. It is my first that I'm watching your views about Muslims fighting Muslims. I like your program. You ask each of us to ask questions about why Muslims are fighting Muslims, and you suggested, " we should change the question about this problem: WHO IS DOING THIS TO US, the common answer is that outsiders are making us fight each other, they may be Zionists, American the British and the Western power." Sir, I'm from Iraq, I know the language, the history of Iraq for the past 7000 years, the Islamic History when Abasseen came to Iraq about 611 Ad or about, the history of the Islamic Empire, the Ottoman Empire, and the history until this day. May I please elaborate on your question and on your suggestion? Sir, you may be right in suggesting that a foreign power is making the Muslim countries kill each other. BUT----------I think the evil that makes the Muslim nations kill each other is Islam itself. When Prophet Mohammad was spreading his Islamic faith to his villagers, he did not do it in peace; they all were Arabs. He spread his Islamic faith by the power of SOWRED. He killed, invaded, forced others, took by force, and demanded to kill in the name of his faith by force. When the Muslim Empire was a powerful force, it invaded all of the Middle East, Persia, Turkey way to Spain, and when Baghdad became the capital of the Islamic nation, Arabs were still killing each other. After the death of Mohammad, his family killed each other for control of power; that is why there is Sheeaa and Sina. The Arabs and the Muslim world were killing each other then and now. May I remind you that during the Islamic Empire, there were no Zoinest, American, British, or Western power, then why were they killing each other? And, let us go further into the Islamic power, your country Turkey became the most powerful Ottoman Empire, and the Turks appointed themselves the keeper and the protector of Islam; your government controlled all of Arabia and invaded most of Europe, forcing and converting other faiths to adopt the Islamic faith, your government took all the minerals the wealth of the Muslim countries, there was no America, Britain, Zoinest to make you take over the other Muslim countries. The Muslim nations must face the fact and the truth, you have been killing each other before Islam and during the expansion of the Islamic faith until this day. The problem is with the foundation of Islam; when you get rid of the foundation, maybe then you can have some peace. Islam always blames others for their worst, for invading one another. If America, Britain, Zionist, and the Western world were not in existence, which they were not during the Islamic Power as an Empire, you still would kill each other because it is in your nature, it is in your Islamic faith. Sir, you said, let us ask questions and let us find a solution to our problem; well, I am giving you the truthful answer to your puzzle, where Muslims are killing Muslims. I don't mean to be disrespectful to any Muslim or to the Islamic faith, but you are the one who raised the question, and I'm giving it to you as I see it. Sir. Israel was established about 74 years ago. They started from nothing on the land, no homes, no streets, no hospitals, no railroads, no transportation, no schools, no colleges, no hospitals, nothing but from zero; look at Israel,, they are a democratic government; they become advanced in every aspect of life and of a country and of government. It has improved equally to America and Europe and has become the most advanced country in the Middle East. Why, because of their faith and because of their unity as one people. Islam came about 510 Ad, this is about 1500 years; they have been going backward and been killing each other forever. If America, Britain, and the Western civilization did not extend the hand of help for all of your improvements, you all would be in the stone age and still are in the stone age. The problem with you is Islam itself.

If you have money to support yourself go for it . Canadian goverment became like third country in helping the canadian student in Europa Some students have scholarship or grants,the office in charge of sending the money take so long that the students have to borrow money to pay house and food. IT IS A SHAME.

Very weak book. I'm very disappointed by his lack of information about Afghanistan and persia. There is not a single evidence about the existence of persian empire in persian history books and scripts. Persian empire has never ruled in Afghanistan. The other fact the today's persian language stammes from Afghanistan or the old Khorasan and Iran has always been part of Khorasan (Afghanistan) except the two dynasties (sasanid and safavid). Safavid is where iran got like indipendent after the fall of last great Khorasan empire, (Timurid Herat). Persian language stammes from cities of Herat (Aria) and Balkh (Bactria). As an Afghan I'm very disappointed about the fact that Iranians have brainwashed the world and also the less effort the world has put to find out what the truth is.

Perhaps rather than the Atlantic being a ‘divide’ it’s the bridge between Western Europe (ie the UK and France) and North America. Certainly it was this bloque that outlasted Germany in the First World War and, together with Russia defeated it again in the Second World War. Then this bloque prepared to face a potential onslaught from Russia that fortunately never came.

If the motivation for the World Wars and perhaps earlier struggles was economic rather than ideological then does that explain why there wasn’t a NATO-Warsaw Pact war? There was no economic motivation? What about all the proxy wars in the third world? No ideological motivation there either?

It seems like the Mackinder world island model still has legs if you replace Russia with China and Germany with the EU. That doesn't make it valid (there doesn't seem to be enough geo in the original thesis) but does update it.

Britain was losing its World domination and was relegated from first Power to third Power status by ww1 and ww2. Hew Strachan might talk like Whitehall but he's seriously onesided.
@Spaccaspecchi
@Spaccaspecchi 5 жыл бұрын
In what world did Britain have third power status in WWI? The Royal Fleet alone completely smashed the Tirpitz Plan (which, admittedly, had its faults), forcing the Reichsmarine to rely more heavily on U-boat campaigns after Jutland, which in turn brought the Americans into the war. Still without access to the Atlantic, the British blockade prevented German intervention and thus enabled two million American soldiers to cross to France. No third power would have ever been able to contain the arguably most potent military at that time in a way Britain did. I'm German, btw, just in case anyone wants to accuse me of a British bias ;)

I strongly feel that Europe must develop an independent thinking on Russia and not be influenced by its transatlantic neighbour. Russia offers cheap gas, trade in agri products with some European nations is significant. Post sanctions, they are deprived of all these. You can be tough on Russian aggressions, but evaluate your consequences on an individual plank, and then take appropriate actions, rather than going en masse with US.
