Well, she was an adult and is responsible for her own actions. Your wife wasn't ready to be loyal to her husband.

Everyone sets boundaries for a reason. Allowing someone to be a narcissist is telling them it is okay. If you love someone set the boundaries up front and expect them to learn how to cope with boundaries.

i really enjoyed the video and appreciate how you handled such a sensitive topic. however, i can't help but wonder if it's truly fair to judge someone solely on their past. everybody has a history, and people grow and change. maybe we should focus more on the present and the effort they're putting into the relationship now rather than what happened before. what do you all think?

What horrid, horrid, people. It's not defamation if it's the truth. OP's parents failed spectacularly. They should be ashamed. Karma decimates those with malicious and selfish intent.

OP should've taken them to court for defamation and theft. Good grief, OP, grow a pair already. Restraining order doesn't do sh*t. Your sister needs to learn that malicious actions have severe consequences. She's already shown you how far she'll go to get what she wants. OP's parents have failed spectacularly. If your parents and other family members are so concerned with their golden child, tell them to give up their own house and they can go live in an apartment.

You could always take Mia to court and sue her for defamation! Tell your parents they failed your sister and if she continues defaming her she will face steep fines for lying about her. Hopefully this will teach your sister that actions have consequences. Your money, your home.

People in these situations need to throw the “family means helping your family “ back in their faces. In my case, when my aunt criticized me for not helping my sibling, giving them my car, I told my aunt that if it’s so important to her to support family then she should give her car away to my sibling. Oh, that shut her up fast.

The better way to handle it was to sue for defamation. Still, get rid of wife who didn't believe him, and supported the rumors. Actions have consequences and this should have ended up in a civil court.

You're also not obligated to listen to them you can block them from social media from your phone from your life and that way you don't have to put up with her BS. Unlike what you did who choose to continue to be abused, abused and abused. You had me when you grew the backbone and set up for yourself but then you just let them abuse you for the rest of the story. That's when you lost my respect.

For people in this situation, one of the best alternatives you can do is try to get into a trade school or work in the trades. 1) Study a trade on your own time. For example: Electrician is a good job that pays well, but almost all trade jobs require that you have completed trade school. Look up everything you can about how an electrician works. Look up building codes, look up how electrical symbols are drawn on construction plans. Watch tons of instructional videos on the topic from reputable sources. Do everything you can to get your foot in the door. Ask around in your family to see if anyone knows someone you can shadow. Trade schools are often not as expensive as college and most can be done in two years. Even better, trades pay well and you can have a job WEEKS after graduation. On top of that, the trades pay well enough that you will have your trade school loan paid off in no time. 2) Make SURE you live within your means. Just because you can buy a house does NOT mean you can afford it. Perfect example: One of my friends and his wife both make 6 figures and have for a while. He had a big savings and bought a really nice house in an HOA. The property values skyrocketed and the taxes on his house skyrocketed. The HOA fees went through the roof. It went from being easily affordable to being a big struggle. He did end up making a big profit on the house, but he was also forced to move to a much worse location for only a 30% less than his current house. If you live carefully for a few years, you will be in a great position to move upward. Do not try to go for the dream right away. 3) IMMEDIATELY set up an investment portfolio with a longstanding and reputable investment firm. Pick a firm that doesn't claim insane percentages every year. A few are legit, but many are shuffling money around and being shady. Investing is an insane market, and it takes a mad genius or very solid basics to do well. It is so impossibly hard to predict that there is a HAMSTER that outperformed the entire market just using his random movements around his cage - Mr Goxx. /watch?v=i5scs_NWTSg. The earlier you invest, the better. The more money you add per month, the better. You CAN EASILY be a millionaire by the time you hit 40 if you start early enough, pick a reputable investor, AND constantly add money. The real key these days is finding affordable housing and affording food. Picking a house is HARD. You need to pick a first house PRIMARILY for work access and opportunity, and not for aesthetic or comfort reasons. For those struggling, my respect and well wishes to you. Fight on. Don't give up.

this video was really well put together, and you did a great job capturing the emotions involved. but honestly, it's kinda surprising how many people are quick to judge without knowing the whole story. i mean, can we really take sides when we don't have all the facts? it's a tricky situation and definitely raises questions about trust and communication.

Wow, this video was really eye-opening and the way you shared your story is commendable. But I have to say, it baffles me how some people jump to conclusions without knowing the whole picture. If you truly had wealth, why not share that before the wedding to avoid all this drama? Seems like a bit of a power play, don’t you think?

this video was really intriguing, and I appreciate how candidly you shared your experience. but honestly, part of me wonders if exposing someone like this is really the right approach. relationships can be complex, and not everything is black and white. maybe there’s a way to address these issues without putting someone on blast? just a thought!
