The company is in Compton, CA. But when I called and asked if they were china’s, they told me they were. But they might be assembled and trued there in Compton.

Most rims you see out there are chinas. No matter the brand.

Most wheels are chinas, even Zenith and other top wheels. But the chrome is a much better quality than a real cheap non branded spoke wheel. My wheels are still in great shape.

OG had better quality chrome but I really like the Zenith style knock off on Luxor. I also like the True loc system Luxor offer. About even but OG cost a little more

Yes they are Chinas but I also believe most spoke rims are. Manufacturing and labor is so cheap, they just can’t be beat. But you will get better quality with name brands. Best bang for your buck with these and Luxor rims.

You don't want to clean it off, you keep it on for protection. It works just like Armor-All.

They are not the best but still a lot better than most china wheels. You must have Daytons or Zenith. Can’t beat Luxor for the price though.

I literally just bought a set of Luxors.. I'm beyond disappointed. Not exaggerating when I say the quality of the chrome is very bad and full of defects. I've seen random Chinas that look better.. I'm mad

@@tadatpbc you are right, the chrome does show scratches and a bit blurry. I also have OG wheels which are a little better but also cost a little more.

Even Daytons are china so for the price not bad ​@wizevideo

They holding up good but really hard to say because my car is mostly in garage. And I do spray them with liquid wrench to keep them from rusting from moisture in rain season. My front rim does get very tight after taking it out for a long cruise. Not sure if it’s from my hub on car or the edge knock off.

These are a little bigger than most people use but you get a smoother ride. They are 205x75x14

I used regular adapters. But I will be getting the locking adapters.

When I ordered the True Lock, this is what I got. I will eventually buy the actual adapter with the holes to lock in the rim. But it seems to be working with the regular adapters. I still like them because you don't need no hammer. I don't really think it matters but it beats the purpose of true Lock. True lock is more of a security system to keep thieves from stealing your rims.

They do make them without the Allen wrench. Go to Luxor website and look under wire wheels then subcategory parts and accessories. They have cool engraved ones with different color rings to match your paint job.

The wheels have been updated to short lug nuts.I will post new update video soon. I was also missing the inner lock bolts to the true knock off. Not a safety issue but a security issue. Thank you all who spotted my mistakes.

The spray that I’m using is a preventative for rust, not really a cleaner. I’m just taking off dust and minor dirt.

I am really interested in understanding how the TRU-Lock mechanism works. If you have such adapters (and corresponding knock-offs), it would be great to see a short video.

It’s just an alloy cover on bolts but I am going to switch them out to be on safe side. The true lock is from Luxor wire wheels. This is their patent pending design. The screws on knock off screws onto adapter. These adapters have extra wide outer edge for screws.

I got them within 3 or 4 days because I live in Cali and they had them in stock. But they could take up to 3 or 4 weeks I was told.

@@HandMadeRoyalty when I ordered my rims they told me they were chinas. Labor and materials are just way too expensive to be made here. But the company is from Watts LA though. Unless they raised there prices I’m not sure they would be profitable if built here. Maybe assembled here? I believe the raw materials are all chinas and put together here.

Always use the acorn style lug nuts where it's open on the end ( see all the way through the hole)

I’m looking to get a set for my 89 camaro, but I want to keep my tires that I have since they are basically new ... my tires are 245/40/r18 so would a set of 18x8 wire wheels fit just fine on those size tires to throw on my iroc z ??? Let me know because I’d like to order from og rims soon if it’s all good to go

Alex Sutton those are some wide tires. You would have to call them to be sure. They will look nice on the iroc.

Dayton and Zenith are probably the two best rims out there but they will cost over 2k easily. These were much less expensive.

I would give these rims an 8 out of 10. Knock off was chipped when I first mounted them to car. But that was due to using a banged up led hammer with all sorts of sharp edges. Gold and chrome is still shiny with no rust. Car is kept outdoor but keep rims covered with plastic cover.

They cool rims. The chrome is staying shiny and rust free. But I do spray them down with a wD40 anti rust lubricant and keep them covered in plastic while parked outside.

TAKE MONEY, these rims are definitely worth the buck. You just need to keep them covered and keep them clean and dry. Do spray them with some sort of silicone or anti rust spray to keep them from forming rust. Only downfall to rims is that they will chip on knock off when installing or taking off. But I've heard this happens to the best of them.

Size 14s

Major Franklin, Hard to say. The tires I have for my 14s are 195/75R/14. It all depends on what u think looks good. But you do want to keep the middle number below 70R otherwise it's going to look bulky for 13s.

My 14s have 175/75r14 with 1 and 3/4 inch white wall

I don't think its US plated. I didn't pay a whole lot for the plating. I think it was only $60 per rim for the knock-off and nipples. But they were a good deal and looked nice

terren pouncy You can google OG wire wheels and website should come up. They seemed like a very small company because they were hard to get a hold of at times. Their web site looked very cheap and awkward.
