The XM is a beautiful car. We had an identical twin of this car from 1974 until it was written off in a car crash in 1981. It was a manual blue body white roof. Extremely reliable well built and free of rust.

Well preserved if it was sitting for 25 years! I just got hold of a coupe - only sitting for 10 years and looks a lot worse. Great job on the resto - very inspiring.

I had a lump in my throat, good video, I had plans to do the same, same model but wagon. Paid $10 in Toowoomba, in 2001. Had been a chicken coup, sold it 2 years later, no repairs at all $500. happy with profit but sad to see it go

The Serial Prefix, body sides and bonnet springs proclaim this to indeed be a 64. May 64 build, in fact. Why do you say it's not?

The 92 N model was my fave, I had the luck of getting the hop-up suzuki race kit manual and managed to get most of those parts( yeah!) and it turned my 250N into a demon! even lighter, heaps more responsive and was a dream carving up big sports bikes on the twisty roads! The only other bike that I have owned that even came close to being as much fun was my KTM 620e Duke, the yellow/black model with the twin headlight kinda looks like a pissed off bee front on...that thing was fricken awesome for wheelies and peeling rubber around corners in town! whatch out for the coppers tho!

is it possible to install the rgv 500 upper pipes onto an rgv250, with some modifications (like making some turns near the exhaust colector on a piece of metal pipe that would then fit the rgv500 upper exhaust), and of course disregarding the future loss of bhp and torque, and not worring about back pressure. also if it is possible to have the exhaust pass near the carbs with melting anything the upper pipes would look incredible on an rgv250
