Nice job! I would be there until the lights were turned off, and still would not have a hole in one. Lol 😄👍

Jack Farris’ stock car number-your grandfather was his pitman and later drove a 2nd car numbered 138 (it was easy to add a strip of masking tape in front of the 38). At any rate, great shot-not a small achievement!! Leroy would say “golf shot”!

Why? I don’t understand why you say “you don’t pull when the rod goes down”….nonsense. I’ve been fishing that same water since 1986, and you must come tight to the fish when he grabs the plug. You might try sharpening your hooks and removing the front trebles on your plugs. Good luck.

What's the purpose of keeping your catch alive on the stringer, this seems cruel and unnecessary to me?

What is the bead for above the swivel? Just curious... Great Video!
@Dragscreamer16 ай бұрын
For visibility as well as preventing the swivel from being reeled into the tip

Love them kings in the river! Were you guys fishing the same bait and at the same depth? How come one guy caught all the fish and the other caught none? Did the first fish eat a bead and the rest skein?
@charlesmeyer81137 ай бұрын
Looks like the guy wearing the gloves caught most of the fish.

@@charlesmeyer8113 good eye 👁.... there's some truth to that sometimes 😊
@Dragscreamer17 ай бұрын
yea that's pretty much it. the skein is tough to beat. But prolly depends on the day and depth and drift control etc

I caught some chinooks with my 14 year old son and he caught his first 3 Salmon this year. There is nothing like bringing your kids into this type of fishing. Steelhead is coming our way now and it is around the corner and I can't wait. Awesome video

I took my son fishing every chance I got when he was growing up. Great to see other dads do the same. I grew up in Michigan, but mostly fished salmon when in the rivers on the Huron side. We had a charter boat we ran out of Onekama on the Lake Michigan side. What river were you fishing on? I’m headed up that way Labor Day week with my kayak to fish. Hopefully will catch a few. Thanks for sharing
