it seems i have got blepharitis and my eyes have been a mess for two years. I started using ocusoft plus wipes and wondering if you know why every time I wipe them they start to twitch like crazy feels very weird

I am so angry! I have suffered with this for 30 yrs with no answers. You mean to tell me that all the drs I've seen, dermatologist, allergists, opthalmologists, optometrists have never realized that I might have occular rosacea? Why didn't any of them ask me if I have a history of rocacea? I had the facial type first, now my eyes. I could have at least had some relief.

Dumb question, but what "part" of the eyelid should i wipe? I typically focus on the eye lashes area when the eyes are closed, but should i be doing this all over the eyelids?

I was diagnosed with macular edema in July. Lost insurance so I have been unable to get treatment. I'm losing central vision in my right eye. It really became noticable when I stopped taking Xeralto for blood clots. 😢

What about cystoid macular edema? History of uveitis and glaucoma. Recurrent episodes. Long term use of difluprednate. What can I do?

I just ran across this video and would like to say, that Dr. Brenner saved my life and vision because I was one of those rare diseases that got diagnosed by Dr. Brenner. I was diagnosed with psuedo tumor cerebri. My CSF was crushing my optical nerves and when I came in to see Dr. Brenner I was almost 100% blind. I sensed right away that my eyes were bothered a bit by the brightness of the monitor, and yes, I feel my eyes widening to take in the extra area. I will try using a tablet to the side of the laptop to increase my workspace.

Even tho I've complained about dry eyes to my ophthalmologist for years they always suggest OTC drops. This year i reported that the drops aren't helping much anymore. The assistant told me about a new OTC drop. The Dr never recommended further testing. I do have rosacea also. The new drops aren't much more helpful than the old one. Should i have more testing to determine a definite diagnosis? How do i get that done? So i just call the Dr back to tell him? I didn't even know if the technician told him any my complaint.

My eye surgeon told me I need a DSAEK/DMEK surgery yesterday, explained there would be an air bubble in my eye afterwards and that I'd have to spend two days lying flat. However, he never said one word about having a corneal transplant, those words he never said. I also need cataract surgery at the same time....Needles to say I am beyond nervous. This video and the comments below have certainly helped me feel better about it. Now I feel fully informed. Many thanks!

Could a broken eye socket cause RP?

The fact that the cornea has no blood vessels suggests that the cells must live a long time. Is that fair to say? I recently had cataract surgery to replace both lenses. The effects were amazing. I didn't know it was possible for the cornea to become cloudy. Does that mean my corneas are as old as I am -73 ? The lenses, apparently, were 73 year old? I guess there were no blood vessels in them either? I recently got something in the mail that suggested the lens can become detached after cataract surgery years earlier and drift around inside the eye. I didn't think that was possible unless the muscles attaching them to the eye were breaking or degrading somehow? I know the surgery replaced the material within the lens capsule and don't disturb the muscles. This is not a hypochondriacal or personal concern. Just a little confused. I thought there was another membrane separating the lens from the aqueous humor - the inner surface behind the part the surgeon removed. ? I didn't know that when the lens was removed the inner eye material - the AH- was actually exposed to the front chamber. Actually it doesn't sound like that's the case. The surgeon only removed the cloudy inner material inside the lens. It still amazes me that an operation that sounds so awful was actually so easy and absolutely painless. .

So there is no need to use a lint-free wipe? You can spray and allow to air dry?
