I found some old pictures of our adventures. You and Sheila were the first people we met in 1989 when we moved here. You told us you wanted to work at the college someday. Look at you now! I'm proud to work for you!

Coming here and learning about gardening and how to garden has really impacted me and I just want to go back and share that as much as I can... It is statements like this that make students at Fort Lewis so special!

Did he mean to say Scott sailed from Cardiff England?
@kimmoj2570

12:09 No, he could not hide something was amiss. Everyone was like WHAAT when they loaded 100 Greenland dogs in Norway before voyage started. If going TWICE across tropics in worlds about slowest ship, destination being Alaska (from where you can buy all the best sled dogs you want) you dont do that.

BTW. Scott had twice as many men as dogs. Amundsen had 5 times more dogs as men. Ship compliments are here included.

Scott, like Franklin, was defeated by his arrogance, an imperialist arrogance that Britain has passed down to its hellspawn, the US.

Scott had actually Norwegian member of expedition who could had taught them ski, but that is useless if men are used as oxen. They had few dogs (Scott brought 34, much smaller Amundsen expedition brought 97), and it takes lot of time and actually knowleagble mentor to teach men properly handle sled dogs. Amundsen and 3 more men on his expedition had years of inuit training and in practice experience how to manage sled dogs. Fumbling amateurs vs properly trained professionals. Remember that being professional is degratory term at that time in Britain. Upper class Brits were supposed to self learn any skill on this world as an stride. Olympic games has had last vestige of such rotten view of humanity. Only "amateurs" allowed, who would be upper class, capable to any task in world without anyone teaching them.

Scott was the expert of Antarctica, after spending years there. Amundsen was not. So...

First generation myself. Seeking a double major in psychology and philosophy here at FLC and it's one of the best feelings. I can seek new experiences and grow as an individual. I plan to attend all four years and look forward to the community and encouragement flc gives to students with potential

One of my favorite things about this interview is the look of admiration on Felicia's face for her aunt. Since her death I have watched all but 2 of Angela's movies. She was indeed a great actress. She could play any role with any accent. Amazing!

It seems that Scott shall stick to writing a books, and leave conquest of S Pole to Amundsen. Many great words about Scott, which are hard to agree if you're not Englishman. For the rest of the world... Scott, showed amazing heroism trying to overcome problems, which he himself created.

She was 19 when she made her debut in a small part in "Gaslight". And even then you could see that she was phenomenal and that she was born to be a movie actress.
