I've been meditating in the proverbs lately, and God truly desires us men to walk in wisdom and truth, so we stop harming ourselves and those around us. God doesn't want us to be fools. He wants us to be strong in wisdom and understanding, so we are a blessing, not a curse to ourselves, our family, our community, and especially our relationship with God. Proverbs 4:4-15 KJV He taught me also, and said unto me, Let thine heart retain my words: Keep my commandments, and live. Get wisdom, get understanding: Forget it not; neither decline from the words of my mouth. Forsake her not, and she shall preserve thee: Love her, and she shall keep thee. Wisdom is the principal thing; therefore, get wisdom: And with all thy getting get understanding. Exalt her, and she shall promote thee: She shall bring thee to honour, when thou dost embrace her. She shall give to thine head an ornament of grace: A crown of glory shall she deliver to thee. Hear, O my son, and receive my sayings; And the years of thy life shall be many. I have taught thee in the way of wisdom; I have led thee in right paths. When thou goest, thy steps shall not be straitened; And when thou runnest, thou shalt not stumble. Take fast hold of instruction; let her not go: Keep her; for she is thy life. Enter not into the path of the wicked, And go not in the way of evil men. Avoid it, pass not by it, Turn from it, and pass away. 🫡

I pray the blessings of GOD continue to multiply in both your lives and overflows into your families and community. IN JESUS NAME!! This podcast got me plugged into my local N.A. here in Australia and is helping me to change the way I've been thinking about a lot of things in my life and process them more soberly. I've listened intently to the "6 years of sobriety" podcast you guys done a while back, over 5 times. And I've listened to every podcast you guys have done up to this. Sinerley, thankyou both and everyone involved in this ministry of addiction recovery from the bottom of my heart. 🇦🇺

Just FYI - gnarly is a surfer word that means 'over the top good'. I don't know where it started being used for 'awful' but that's not what it means

Great interview, currently on 2mg sub (taking as prescribed) and working a solid program. That was a super fast taper man. I go to the Methadone clinic to get my sub, at first I would go every day for the accountability, and also drug tested bi-weekly. Eventually I earned take homes, and slowly I started trusting myself more and haven't abused at all. It does suck being on something, but living the life I had before sucked WAY MORE. Thanks for the interview.
