I'm blacked out from watching the Avalanche on Altitude on ESPN+ living 60 miles from Kansas City. I'm 600 miles from Denver and still in a Blckout area. Hard to understand. I have found ways around these restrictions, but considering my location shouldn't have to.

The thing is Altitude has streamed games. Probably still are. Back when they were on Comcast I could go to their website and with my Comcast login watch games at work. Easy.

After all the years as their biggest fan and commentator, Peter Mcnabb passed away, only able to be heard by Dish network subs, or people who tapped into illegal streams. Monumental disservice to him and everyone who loved the voice of the Avs.

I live in New Zealand. The only Avs games I get to see is the 4 or 5 per season that happens to be on the 2 ESpN channels (shared with every other sport) during the season. We do get the playoff games but only if the eastern games don’t go into overtime etc. would love a stream of the games if it was available!!

I also have a feeling that's why we are seeing on air talent leaving, without the advertising $ coming in because of limited viewership, they aren't going to be able to retain talent or keep up the quality of the broadcasts.

Hear me out, anytime this team is in a tight spot they make unnecessarily complicated trades with one or more teams at the same time where they secretly fleece them...what if they just did that again, crazy i know. Trade the teams the player is on and Mackinnon would be #1. They would find any and every stat like they do with Mcdavid to make is so.

I think the player assistance program is sort of the NHL version of FMLA. Basically, you can't get fired for needing time away. I think when he is reinstated, that sets him back to regular status and any breach can be used as a reason to terminate.

The Avs need a pest a la Claude Lemieux, Corey Perry, Marchand, Kadri, or Bennett. They make a long boring regular season tolerable & bring some spice & flavor in the playoffs. RyJo exemplifies McFarland’s tenure as a GM.

I very much dislike the blue/orange combo. Not a Oilers fan or Broncos fan so maybe that has something to do with it. Avs would look terrible in blue and orange. Good color combos: blue/black, purple/green, orange/black, and burgundy/blue.

Conner benefits from Leon- great 1-2 punch, whereas Mack doesn’t have the same luxury. If there is one stat that is lacking in his game, it’s face offs. The Lindsey trumps the MVP and to win both, but for the ‘23 & ‘24 season, Mack is number 1 period going into this season.

Personally, I doubt McKinnon would care if people think mcdavid is better. Because at the end of the day he can open up that little box with his cup ring in it and know he accomplished something that most of the league never will. And as time goes by people have a tendency to only remember the winners. So until Mcdavid wins one then I think history will look on McKinnon more favorably. Especially if he manages to win it again which is a real possibility.

well McDavid did get to game 7 of the Stanley Cup final, Conn Smyth winner, had more points than Nate in all games played of the entire season, and did that in Edmonton. Nate will be overlooked like Bednar until he wins the Hart, Stanley cup and conn smyth in one season to be considered the best. i am most excited about Gabe generating some depth scoring

I'd put mcdavid #1 and I don't like him much. What mcdavid did last year in the playoffs was incredible and just a single win short of a cup. He won mvp of the playoffs for good reason. I'd take mackinnon over him still.
